From his vessel the Sachsen Commodore Ekkehard Rosengarten sat in his quarters sitting in front of a monitor."Begin long range laser comm." he would order via the direct link from his quarters to the bridge. The alignment from the ship to Deimos had taken a short while, but once they got a ping all they needed to do was send the laser link. In a matter of moments the Chairwoman would receive a call from the Sachsen. Without a doubt, she would pick it up as the The Sachsen a Sadalahn class drifted through the inky void alongside the Bayern. The Sachsen had received a patch job after it's encounter with the Federation Battleship."Chairwoman, I bring news. Though at any moment I believe this will become a three way call? Regardless, the scouting mission was more or less a success. The Bayern proved to be in competent hands."

Later on, after returning to the hanger.
Lucius had stopped for a shower and a "meal" before returning to the deck. Walking past his Command Officer 'Shay' who is piloting the main bridge of the Bayern with a slight nod at each other, the two friends past by each other before returning to work. A Split screen between himself inside of the Captain's Chambers and Roseengarten before gives a pilot nod. "I am glad you made it out okay, i was worried you blew a hip." His chuckle heard with a light chuckle under his breath before walking along with the long table before pressing a few buttons to deploy the transmission dish to broadcast their private chat with the Chairwoman and Rozengarten's ship using both their relays as a type of array in order to send a clear signal to her.
After a few moments, a camera sticking out of the wall broadcasts Lucius appeared on screen with his hands clasped behind his back. "Ah Chairwoman Brandt, you look beautiful this day." He said with a polite smile as he nodded his head in respect before getting down to his report.
"As requested, the Devils Raiders had aided the "Commodore Rozengarden" I believe his name was called. We discovered an asteroid base that carried highly advanced mobile suits that used 'Smart Beam Rifles' and we managed to capture one of them with the pilot. He finished before transmitting pictures including those of the ACE pilot's mobile suit, the mobile they captured along with the pilot in question after her "interrogation".

Isabel would greet both men individually, listening in to their reports. The chairwoman knew little about these war machines more specific features, never finding technical details to be of particular interests but it was good to get information from the men at the front.
" That's a problem." Her expression grew stern upon hearing the Federation had already posted one of their special forces team to that asteroid. This would require her to assign units to keep them suppressed.
" Your next objective is simple: Keep those feddies in the asteroid hunkered down. We must not allow them to threaten our supply convoys coming in our out of Mars. It's preferably if you take it and hold it but I won't ask any of you to waste lives in vain." Her mood had soured a bit lately what with all these news coming in. Certainly this was a worse case scenario.

Rosengarten put aside the comment from the young lad for a moment, though found he was a spirited young man all the same."I can keep them hunkered down as long as needed. Though, I will need to bring the Sachsen in for more thorough repairs. The technicians have told me that the rushed repairs will not hold for very long, especially under combat conditions. I recommend that Lucius here maintain a blockade while I return to port. I request that my my ship's reserve of mobile suits be topped off with assault grade suits that can take the asteroid. I will need at least two support ships."

A loud crashing sound of broken glass was heard on Lucius's end after he tossed a glass cup into a wall with all of his might as he clearly looked pissed off from this remark as he returned his look back into the camera. "How the MIGHTY Zeon had once fallen.... Loss of Manpower... Their super weapon... A CLEAR LOSS OF A SPINE and clearly now a Loss of Zeal... 18 years ago... I left under orders from Hamon to attack an Earth Federation base in the farther northern region... and now... you are telling me... INSTEAD of bringing the fight or gather resources... to rebuild... You want us to hold them here...? PERHAPS Cima was right about Zeon being a ghost after it had fallen apart... after we lost the 1-year war. "
His rage had boiled over as almost a blood vessel popped in his eye at the mention of the blockade, believing that while they sit here, that they would be wasting resources to supply a foolish attempt to block an enemy when they should be saving what they can to use to rebuild. Slowly sliding back into his command chair his eyes looked at the screen with an annoyed expression at both of them. Before taking some deep-breaths to calm down slowly.
"Sorry... things have changed so much..... it's still hard to grasp..."

It was difficult for Isabel to hide that disapproving scowl once Lucius began candidly sharing his opinion on the matter. For a moment she considered losing her temper as well and making it clear these disrespectful comments would come back to bite him later but her more rational thoughts came on top.
" There's no reason to shift the blame at this point. We'll have to work with what we have and right now we can't back down from this. Let's focus on making the Federation regret they sent their forces here." She would sternly speak up.
" Zeon's past might be tarnished in needless bloodshed but that doesn't mean we have to needlessly sacrifice those serving under our command." Pilots were truly irreplaceable assets in her eyes and no amount of jingoistic pride was going to change the fact that a skilled and well trained pool of pilots was a finite resource they could I'll afford to waste.

Rosengarten let out a sigh which then turned into a chuckle to which he coughed it away."Boy." he said sternly."Every time Zeon has gone on the offensive, do you know what has happened?" he asked leading a little."We have lost. The dreams of millions yearning for freedom from the Federation cast aside for no real gain. We do not have the resource, nor the manpower to act recklessly. I would like nothing more then to crush these Federation Bastards in a glorious all out assault. Storming their pathetic asteroid base and killing them to the man. I would like nothing more ten to gather every ship we have and ten march onto earth, and in one act of defiance set foot on Earth once more. But, we are not in position, and if we act recklessly now we will lose Zeon forever." he said with a pause."Look around you... where are we? We don't have A Baoa Qu, we dont have Side 3, we dont have Axis. The Remnants of Zeon have either fled here or been wiped out. Mars is all that is left. We cannot afford even one more major loss, for that loss will be our end. I have been here since the start, I have seen to the rise of Monarchs, and the custodianship of Republic. The Federation will do all in it's power to exploit over eagerness."

After listening after a few minutes, his unexpected rage begins to quiet slowly fade into dust. "Hmmm... I reckon you both have a point. My apologies for overreacting at this... this situation." He had been taken aback from his rebuttal slowly attempting to gather himself as he thought of the grim nature of this. After a moment with briefly felt his cheeks flush a bit in utter embarrassment before slowly his face returned back to a neutral expression as he dusts himself off.
Clearing his throat, he began with a polite nod. "Very well... as mentioned before you will have the support of my Fleet and personal. I will need to take leave to Mars to gather my supplies and talk to you personally for matters that can't be discussed over Com channel along with my apologize." His eyes then slowly turn to Rosengarten. "As for command while I am withdrawn to Mars, I would like Rozengarten to temperory take command of this blockade until my return. Though I'm not happy about this, I will still respect your wish." He said evenly with an even shrug before sliding his hand onto the table before standing as he looked prepared to depart immediately.
