| Isami's parents were both killed by a stray beam rifle shot that tore through the living quarters of the Martian colony they had been living on,leaving him to take care of his at the time 12 year old sister Izumi. The attack had been perpetrated by a band of space pirates attempting to seize the colony port. When confronted by the local defense force they retaliated with beam weaponry resulting in many collateral casualties. They moved in with their aunt- a woman named Veronica- who had made a political career pushing for Martian independence. Turned out that the attack that had cost the life of his mother and father had been orchestrated by the Federation. Seething with rage, Isami joined the newly formed Martian fleet that had been remodeled to resemble the principality of Zeon forces. Thanks to his dedication and aunt political connections he was able to advance through the ranks at a rapid pace, earning the rank of Captain after merely 10 years of service. Currently he commands the Gwanban fast battleship " Saarland" acting as a subordinate to Commodore Ekkehart Rosengarten |
