Citrio Gilliam sat in the cockpit of his EMS-02EX Jaguar, pilot suit clinging to his body as he stared out into the stars. Slowly breathing he meanuvered his mobile suit over the surface of his Jupitris-class. Moving towards the back of the vessel as a pilot in his EMS-01 Prototype Breda joined him. The Jupitris-class was swarming with mobile suits of different makes and models. Interceptor squads to the sides with early warning squads to the front and rear. It was those early warning squads which had told them that they were being tailed by a Martian vessel. They had to lose them and they were closing in fast. The reason they had to lose them was that they were on their way to rendezvous with a vessel in the Martian Sphere. A group of pirates that had claimed to align themselves with the Martians. There normally would not have been too much attention in regards to his vessel. But it had been spotted near the site of the skirmish he and Marina had with the Martians. So they had to avoid being caught, but at the same time... Citrio considered finding out how much the Martians knew. It would take some time for the massive vessel to gain enough speed to outrun the Martian vessel, so they would be forced to engage in a skirmish. Due to the fact that they were in a sphere, they could not use a nuclear pulse to quickly move out of there.
Rolling his shoulders the EWAC reported in, the Martian vessel had deployed mobile suits after the Jupitris had refused to answer their communications. Citrio breathed out and looked far back. He sent out the order, they would engage the Martian mobile suits between their two ships. Taking a squad with him he headed a intercept.
