Blunt and straightforward Ryoko has been described as being able to reliably instill a good morale within her assigned unit. Her superiors describe her as a professional career NCO responsible for maintaining an status of constant readiness within the enlisted men. Ryoko despises wasting her breath and is more prone to act before committing herself to dialogue.
While strict and demanding on duty she does try to get along with everybody even if she constantly yells at them whenever its time to run drills or in the heat of combat. When off duty she's much more relaxed and glimmers of a more caring personality come into view. As a result of the last months of intensive combat she despises anything to do with Zeon. If allowed she would retaliate with violence against those who are sympathetic to the spacenoid cause.

Since Ryoko was a young girl growing up she'd shown a natural aptitude for violence picking up fights at school and more often than not running into all kinds of problems with the rest of her peers. Tired of living bound by society Ryoko dropped out of college during her freshman year. her parents didnt want any of that and kicked her out of the house after a heated argument that prolonged until the small hours of the morning.
With nowhere else to turn Ryoko now a 19 year old lady decided it would be better to put those violent impulses of hers to better use and enlisted in the earth federation military as an artillery crew hand. After barely managing to survive basic training and passing each test she was incorporated into the military as a Lance Corporal. Unfortunately life as an artillery crew wasn't very exciting and most of the work involved moving the large caliber self propelled gun to the next location, dig in and haul ammunition by hand.
Ryoko had grown to like soldiering. Being bound to a unit gave her life purpose and decided to stay in the armed forces in order to build a career. She attended numerous courses in order to hone her skills through the years. Eventually she was assigned to a unit operating far from her natal Japan. At the age of 24 she was sent to America where she instructed artillerymen in training. Eventually she became part of the administrative staff as tensions with Zeon escalated.
As the war erupted she continued performing her duties training soon to be made artillery men. Finally her outfit was put into alert and sent to the great plains to fend off the Zeon Forces has they landed on North America. Her unit was ravaged and where forced to retreat south west where they took part in numerous battles against advancing Zeon forces. After the end of the war, she would marry a man named Haruto Sahashi back in Japan. She lived peacefully until Zeon remnants dropped a colony in UC 0083, she would join the Titans shortly after, maintaining her rank as an officer. |

| HISTORICAL & TECHNICAL NOTES | | A left over model from the OYW. It has been updated to include magneting coating in its joints along with brand new sensors and a panoramic cockpit bringing it's performance on par with Quel type models. Ryoko is quite happy with it's performance, finding it quite suitable to take on most existing threats, overall she excels at providing quick fire power while also giving orders from the rear, a role that doesn't demand every ounce of perfomance. |
