Sonia is a reassuring and rather open type of person who is really casual in nature. She was never one for strictly holding people to rules and regulations. Though when there is a problem she will bluntly state it as it is but will encourage people to do better. She prefers to be personable with people rather than cold and distant believing that the bonds of soldiers are better forged through personal connections. She can sometimes come across as touchy-feely in a way. Not only that but she can sometimes seem arrogant or smug. But the same energy that can make her come across as that can also be used for motivation. Indeed when paired with her reassuring nature she can be rather motivational. She is not one for manners preferring not to beat around the bush for politeness sake. She is also of a moderate rebellious nature which has grown conservative with time and has an adventuress' heart. Overall she is typically good spirited.

| BIOGRAPHY |

The One Year War started when Sonia was 19 and deciding to volunteer rather than be conscripted she began her career. During the duration of the conflict, she butted heads with Officers whom to her seemed entirely underqualified for their positions. People whom through political connections rose through the ranks and sent people to die from the safety of their command posts. She found herself physically disciplined a couple of times, which did not deter her. However, her attitude never went to the level of insubordination. Based on merit she managed to climb the ranks during the conflict. During the war, she became of a mobile suit pilot at first piloting a captured Zaku 2 and then eventually an RGM-79［E］ GM Early Type then RGM-79 GM before when she reached a sufficient rank was chosen to pilot an RGM-79GS GM Command Space Type which she piloted at the very end of the war. After the war, she was transfered to a Colony Garrison.
