Sonia rubbed at her chin, a smirk accompanying the motion as Clara introduced the group to the two of them."Pleasure to meet you. Though, I think we have already met that one." she said pointing at Sig who was being rather quiet."What made you decide to come and join us?" she asked a bit curiously, wondering why Zeon would defect to them. Though she had a hunch it had to do with the Titans hunting them down. Sig looked like he was about to say something, but halted, thinking it over for another moment. They were here for the next war. Though thought leaked in through the back of his mind.

“After having my face on Zeon propaganda for a few months I would rather meet the titans head on and possibly have a normal life at some point rather than do nothing and find myself looking down the barrel of a sidearm belonging to some goon who’s come to arrest me.” Cornelius’ response wasn’t very idealistic but it was true. Becoming an ‘ace’ due to somebody’s brilliant idea of casting him as some kind of hero had left him with a reputation, even though he had always seen himself as a bit of a nobody.
He glanced at his captain and shrugged his shoulders. “Besides, where she goes I go. Pulled my ass from the fire and has kept us alive so you could say I owe her my loyalty.” He grinned at their host slightly and raised an eyebrow. “And besides, we are getting paid, right?”

" Please excuse Cornelius. Like any good veteran he tends to be on the cruder side of things. I am sure you have seen it before." Clara could see that Sonia and Amelie weren't exactly complete rookies. The silver haired blond girl had spent nearly five years fighting these people which she'd come to respect. It was obvious to everyone gathered here that the Titans were a new bred of terror that needed to be stopped for the common good.
" I assume you're our commander?" She would softly ask the auburn brunette, seeing she was wearing a Captain Golden pin from the Federation.
Amelie role was to lead them to the briefing room where their actual CO- Faust awaited them. While Sonia greeted the new arrivals he had been on a private call with the AE agent tasked with their assignments. In order to hit the Titans they had to keep an advantage in regards to intelligence and AE's network of spies was essential on this.

Despite her familiarity with Sig, there was a hesitant feeling nagging at Amelie in the back of her mind. It was strange to think that she would now be working with now former Zeon forces. Of course, they all had a common enemy now. It was something they would all have to work passed. And Clara said as much as she introduced herself as well as Sig and Cornelius. She looked toward Sig as she gave a quick salute back, noticing the curious look he was giving her. "Nice to meet you, Captain Marques. And I'll remember that," she said, looking over at Sonia as she mentioned that the two of them already knew Sig.
Still suffering the effects of her hangover, the brunette remained quiet as Sonia asked why they'd decided to join. Cornelius' answer was somewhat... crude, but he was at least loyal to his Captain. She glanced back toward Sig, thinking he was about to say something, but instead she heard Clara speaking up quickly.
"It's fine. And I definitely have," she said with a nod. When Clara asked if she was the commander, Amelie shook her head. "I'm not. But if you'll follow me, I'll take you to meet with him." Unfortunately, taking care of her hangover would have to wait until later. She led the group through the ship and toward the briefing room, knocking on the door once they arrived before opening it.

Sonia seemed to smirk a little at the crude response they were given by Cornelius, but noted mentally that the other two had not spoken as to their motives yet."Crudeness and honesty often go hand in hand." she said pointedly before looking to Clara."Yeah, best to show them to the boss as soon as possible." she said with a shrug all the meanwhile Sig remained quiet observing Clara. He wondered if she held any ill will towards him and if she would help him find what he was looking for. Sig would follow her as she led them.

When the group of Zeonic pilots arrived at the briefing room they would be greeted by this fairly unassuming gray haired man of moderate stature. " So glad you could join us today, ladies and gentlemen." He would respectfully salute each one of their guests, introducing himself as Faust Von Witzland. After being stripped off his rank there was no real reason to use that rank he no longer held.
The briefing was fairly straightforward with Faust giving them a through explanation of their next assignment. They were to break through the Titan's perimeter around the moon. On open space they would have more room to maneuver and prevent any more unwanted collateral damage.
" Thanks to your efforts we are able to seize the initiative, however we still need to make one final push." Faust didn't need to tell any of them that the Titans would be throwing everything they had left at this point.
" We depart in 10 minutes. Sonia, you will lead our escorts as we make our way to side 2. Once we're in open space it'll be much easier to strike at the Titans own infra-structure." Their first order of business was to strangle the Titans material output and industrial capacity. Even an old ship like this one could prove to be a thorn to anyone's side. Thanks t it's type it would be easier to disguise it as a Federation vessel.
