Outskirts of Granada- Late February UC0084
The Titans had been aware for a while that there was a concentration of Zeon remnants supporters operating out of Granada. They didn't know any specifics, however it was the perfect excuse to launch an preventive operation to sniff out any potential future threats. Two Salamis Kai class cruisers deployed a force of eight GM Kais in the standard dark blue and black livery of the Titans. From the Pegasus II carrier the GM Sniper III medium range support type belonging to Ryoko Kihara would launch first armed with a shield and a 90mm long rifle in the right hand.
In the bowels of the white ship remained an RX-78 model with Augusta lab markings in the cockpit sat Warrant officer Fatima De Leon clad in the same black space suit worn by other pilots in the taskforce. She was set to launch last and from there take point towards the city of Granada. Once there they would establish a perimeter and effectively run a blockade, hoping to catch anyone moving in and inspecting their cargo.
Ryoko's GM landed on the lunar surface, it's feet boosters flaring up to soften up the impact of it's 70 plus tonnage against the rough, crater marred surface. " So close to home ... " Her family currently lived at Von Braun at the other side of the moon.

First lieutenant Ronan Mahoney breathed out watching as the Lunar Surface fast approached in in an eerie silence. His hands steady on the control sticks keeping his flight path steady. Sensors gave him a readout of how close he was to the surface, though he could visually tell the closer he got. From the corner of his eyes he noticed a flash from thrusters. He glanced over briefly, it was Ryoko landing in her GM Cannon III. Seems she beat him to the surface, he smirked before focusing back in on his own approach. From here in the panoramic cockpit of his GM Sniper III he would see a road come into view. Increasing thrust he slowed down... one hundred feet.... fifty feet... twenty feet... ten feet... five feet. His mobile suit lurched forward and downwards as he halted thrust to prevent him from flying back up. His harness keeping him in place as his body wanted to go forward, momentum taking him that direction. The GM Sniper III took a few steps to slow it self down, leaving some large foot prints on the lunar surface. This kicked up some dust, but he was here standing next to the road that lead into Granada."Outlaw II to Outlaw leader I have landed, repeat I have landed. Over." he communicated over to his Captain. No one was getting in or out of this place without them noticing.
---
Meanwhile, Sigstein Inverlea glanced over his shoulder standing in the hanger of the Tivvay-class they had come in on. He glanced around for a moment with curious eyes having felt as if he had sensed something. No one but the usual crew could be seen as they went about their assigned duties. He sighed and shrugged."It's just your imagination..." he mumbled before looking up at what was docked into the mobile suit rack before him. MSN-01 Kikeroga, it stood there having just been delivered to their ship by AE who wanted who knows what favors for it. Sig was intrigued by the mobile suit that stood before him, he had been told it was a new type use mobile suit. It has a Psycommu in it, something he had been learning out to use before he got pulled from the Institute and placed at Side 3. Climbing up a ladder next to it he would climbe up to the cat walk surrounding it, aided by the low gravity of the moon. Running his hand curiously over it's hull as he came to the cockpit hatch. Looking around for a moment he found the hatch release lever and would open it. The mobile suit opening right up for him, inside he found an interesting in configuration cockpit.

Cornelius had just finished running a simulation excersize with his newly upgraded Rick Dom II when Sigstien entered the hanger. The cockpit hatch of the mobile suit next to the left of the young newtype’s new machine opened at just about the same time and the more senior pilot stepped out dressed in full normal suit and helmet. “Damn she’s a beast!” he commented to himself, wiping the thin line of sweat that had been beginning to form from his brow. His pilot suit was not much different than the standard but his helmet was decorated in an older style of woodland camo and decked with tally marks under simplified ideograms representing his various kills against mobile suits and ships. One marking stood out from the plain white marks with its single tally and the symbol it was under both painted in gold.
The older pilot looked to his right and gave a whistle, a distinct three note sound that went from low, to high and then low again. “Hey Sig, you got a minute?” he called, hoping to get the boy’s attention.

With the path to the catapult now cleared, the late production RX-78 type mobile suit was moved into position. All Fatima had to do was take a couple of steps before securing the feet to the automated ramp. That particular model of Gundam was only a couple years old, procured by the Murasame labs to conduct tests with their own cyber newtypes. It was practically a G-3 model painted in the Titan's signature colors. After being told to prepare for urban combat she'd chosen to deploy with a 177mm field gun as opposed to the beam rifle in order to minimize collateral damage. " Outlaw, maintain position outside the city. Rhea willl go in and sniff out any potential hostiles." Ensign Marina Von Witzland was once more their radio operator, relaying orders to them from their direct superiors. The area of operations: Titans spawn: J-4 AEUG starting area: B-7 * The railroad tracks in the middle run through an entire hill that divides the south and north sides of the map, making visibility null from both ends.

Sig had been about to crawl into the mobile suit and give it a closer look from the inside, he was starting to but stopped at hearing a sharp sound. A whistle? He pulled back and looked to his left curiously, and spotted Cornelius. Upon seeing him he heard them ask if they had a moment."Sure!" Sig would call back pushing away from the cockpit. Hand running along the railing on the cat walk he would approach Cornelius. Though his eyes would drift to the mobile suit Cornelius had been working on."Whats up?" Sig asked glancing back to them with young curious eyes. Though, there was something else tugging at him, a feeling. A heavy pressure, coming from the distance, it felt familiar. Fatima? He questioned himself, glancing over his shoulder. He then looked back to the older pilot.
Ronan breathed out a sigh looking up into the sky, his mobile suit sort of mimicking the action. He could see the Titan's Gundam comming down after zooming the window in."Copy that, maintaining position. Over."

“Well I wanted to clear a little confusion about what I’d meant back on the colony. You handled yourself well back on the Titan base and afterwards but...” The smile faded from the elder newtype’s face and he trailed off mid sentence. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked around with his eyes as his expression changed. There was a pressure in the air that he hadn’t felt earlier and it wasn’t something with atmospherics either. “Sig, you feel that? I think something’s off. You stay here and keep an eye on things, just let the cap know that I’ going out to make sure if we’ve got any new neighbors. Hope AE’s clout is good enough to keep us clear if things go ugly... Stay here and get ready. I might call for backup if things get... ugly.”
His modified Rick Dom II has already been equipped for combat, carrying more weapons than was usual but still within the machine’s weight capacity. A triple barreled 35mm machine gun was equipped to each forearm and the machine carried a 360mm giant bazooka II. The heat rod had been released with a heat saber taken from an old Gouf which was unlikely to se any use and it now hung in the same shoulder position. The change had been made to improve cutting power and also shorten the draw time with the shorter weapon. Cornelius would have preferred using a different machine in an urban environment but his Dom had already been updated with the new cockpit and magnetic coating in addition to an upgraded reactor. Converting a generator from a Gelgoog Jager to fit inside the housing of his machine had been a surprisingly easy procedure and the machine now felt as if it combined the best of both into one.

The entrance of the colony laid open for the Titan's mobile suits to make their way inside the first industrial/residential district of the city, encased in the safety of an underground dome. The Black RX-78 hovered at a brisk yet relatively safe distance. Inside this mobile suit Fatima had no reason to fear anything the Zeon remnants had at their disposal.
Confident with her skills and the Gundam capabilities she arrived at J-4, taking notice of the terrain features. In order to reduce fuel expenditure she would let go off the throttle shutting off the boosters.

Sheena had been quiet for a while as the Titans made their way to Granada. Once Ryoko's launched, she was monitoring the area surrounding the GM Cannon III to make sure there was nothing to worry about. But they were able to make it to Granada without any incident. Once they were in the ground, she was already 'scanning' the area for newtypes, certain she could feel a few around. But she didn't say anything about it for now, not seeing any reason to put Ryoko on edge if they weren't involved.
But when Sheena heard Ryoko mention her home, she decided to speak up. "How far is it from here?" she asked. She wasn't appearing beside Ryoko as a 'ghost' like she had before, remembering her reaction to it.

Sig said nothing for a moment glancing off behind him. He could swear there was something else... it wasnt nust one wave of pressure. But like two? He couldn't be for certain, as he would look back to Cornelius."Yeah I can feel it... but I feel like there is more to it... ot is strange... wrong?" He said gently shaking his head. The Titans had only one new type before, there couldn't be another one right? "I'll get ready, stay safe okay?" He said watching as they rushed off to their Rick Dom II. Sig stood there nervously for a moment more before turning around. He walked over to the Kikeroga, peering into the open cockpit. He was told to get ready right? He adjust his pilot suit's seal making sure the helmet was on correctly. Then, he crawled inside of the slightly more roomy then usual cockpit. It wasnt panoramic like the newer mobile suits, the set up and equipment involved meant it would take just a little longer. Taking a seat in the cockpit he sealed the hatch. The dim light of the console illuminating his world. He searched around before finding the right keys and switched to boot the mobile suit to life. The screens flickered to life, the monoeye of the new type use mobile suit flashed to life. Sig breathed out as the system began its start up sequence and the whole thing came to life. Something on the read out mentioned that rain readings had been synced up.

Cornelius crossed himself in the cockpit of his Dom as it rode up the concealed elevator and said a small prayer for his own safety. Even though he had somewhat lost faith in the early days of the war out was an old practice that seemed to show no signs of dying even after five years.
His machine slowly emerged into the ‘sunlight’ within the pressurized environment and the Rick Dom stepped off of the lift which slowly began its way down. The machine was equipped with a pair of spare propellant canisters to help reduce the fuel consumption from the extra equipment it carried. As it entered B-7 the monoeye and head panned around, searching for whatever was giving the newtype that’ unnerving feeling which had ridden his nerves since that time in the hangar.

" Von Braun. In a decent neighborhood." The city where Ryoko family lived was a full 3 hour trip but this was the closest she'd ever been while on duty with the Titans. Since she got to spend half a year with her family and made good money while doing so she remained with the organization. Her daughter Akemi was four year older under the care of her husband, a simple man whom Ryoko had no issue entrusting the fruit of her womb.
She was starting to have doubts about the Titans role but doing this allowed her family to live a worry free life. She'd seen many former comrades struggle and life as a soldier was the only life style she knew. It pained her having to conform with this and Sheena would most certainly be able to feel these conflicting emotions.
---
Fatima's lingering newtype aura would soon spread through the underground dome, aided by the Gundam's state of the art sensors. She did not know where the enemy was but she recognized this presence from before as that man in the Rick Dom II. She would never forget how he attempted to distract her from retrieving Sigstein back in that colony.
" This time you won't be so lucky." Even in that customized GM Fatima was certain she could overpower the Dom pilot, letting him distract her was the only thing that allowed Sig to overpower her the last time, that and her own cockiness but by now Fatima had learned to temper her natural knack for violence.
The RX-78 would aim it's long gun upwards. The magazines loaded with special ammunition that had less powerful powder charges which allowed them to arch even in the moon much weaker gravitational field. The fuse on each of the HE shells loaded was set at ten whole seconds after being fired. Without regard she would fire a shell aiming blindly at the other side form where she felt Cornelius presence. She wasn't trying to hit him but much rather give him something to think about. Even if she didn't score a direct hit that explosion would cause quite the ruckus, raising a dense cloud of dust and rubble after exploding violently inside the sealed environment.
( Fired a single shot. Estimated impact area: far from B-7.)

Sig had finished booting up the Kikeroga and activating his Psycommu system. Slowly he breathed out and did what he had practiced at the end of the One Year War. He disengaged from the storage rack the mobile suit was locked into, and then took a step forward. He barely touched or moved the control sticks or interface as he did this. Moving the machine by intention and thought alone. He raised the hand of the Kikeroga up to be in view of the screen, open palm he looked at it and then looked to the Rick Dom II as it made it's way to the lift. One heavy step after another he took his time with these seemingly simple movements before joining Cornelius on the lift. He felt as the lift shook to a start and began to bring them to the surface. Light after light passed over them until the top blast doors opened allowing the light from the sun to come pouring in.
"It's her..." he whispered looking off towards some buildings which were in the way of direct visual contact."She knows we are here..." he muttered before glancing off in another direction. Now that he was up here, he could feel another presence."Another newtype?" he questioned curiously trying to reach out and get a sense for them. Unaware that what he was sensing was Ryoko."You take this one, I'll keep this other one off your back." Sig would say glancing back to the Rick Dom II. With a step he pushed from the ground and engaged thrusters flying towards the edge of Granada. His mono eye swiveling back he saw something coming in towards he had just been, but he had to ensure they didn't get flanked.
Gradually increasing in alltitude until his feet just barely went over the lip of the crater he crowned over the edge. His eyes laying upon Ryokoright away both his sensors, eye sight, and that presence pin pointing them.'There you are.' he thought as he landed on the slope his monoeye flashing.
(Sig has left the map)

"When was the last time you visited?" Sheena asked, learning a little more about Ryoko. But it was in the moments after she'd asked another question she could sense that conflicted feeling in the pilot. It felt like she already had her answer without needing to hear anything else.
She could feel Fatima's aura as it spread, but her own focus was still on the other newtypes she'd noticed when she first started 'looking' around the area. She followed them even when she was speaking to Ryoko, wanting to know where they were going. But it wasn't long before she saw them moving closer and closer to the surface. One emerged first, now coming from the Rick Dom II that had revealed itself. Sheena watched as Fatima started firing in the area of the mobile suit, trying to send a message. But before the 'ghost' had a chance to think much more about that situation, it was like she could feel the other newtype's eyes on her, looking right on her. And it wasn't hard to tell where he was as the Kikeroga moved into view on the edge of the crater. "He's watching us," she said to Ryoko.
But after warning Ryoko, Sheena started reaching out for Sig to communicate with him. "It's a nice day for a walk, isn't it?" her voice would ask in his mind.

Ryoko was not expecting to see this larger than average Zeonic made mobile suit. it's shape reminded her of the Zeong and taking a look at those gun barrel fingers only confirmed that observation. Knowing that they stood no chance at a direct attack she decided to pull back, wanting to get enough distance to stay away from those wire guided hands field of fire as to not get caught in a cage of beams.
" I've confirmed the presence of a hostile goofy lookng machine. Heavily armed, it might have remote weapons capabilities!" She reported back to all frequencies wanting everyone to be aware as to effectively counter it.
" Zeek son of a bitch!" After relocating several hundred miles using the boosters, the GM support type planted it's feet bac on the lunar surface, taking aim with it's main cannon armament. She went for a manual aim but then saw Sheena on the scope floating towards the enemy mobile suit, her spirit no longer bound to the GM. " Sheena, what the hell you think you are doing?"

Cornelius watched the arc of the blurred movement his eyes had caught and there was a slight clenching of teeth as the hover jets spun to life and lifted his machine off the ground. The Dom’s engines came to life and be began to chart a zigzagging course that would make him more difficult to target with that kind of weapon. This was hardly his first shelling and he acknowledged it fully, seeing it as just another routine.
As his machine began to skirt the edge of the lake in front of him Cornelius became aware of the familiar presence he felt spreading out from the center of town and sighed with annoyance. He didn’t even really acknowledge the feeling from the other pilot, his mind more focused on the environment instead. He had an advantage in open terrain but the confines of the city were exactly the worst place to engage in a battle using a Dom. He sighed quietly and exhaled, mentally withdrawing into himself and trying to still his own emotions. The feeling from this Titans newtype was nothing new so their killing intent was hardly interesting. He had felt several little it over the years and this person wasn’t going to get him excited that easily. He smiled to himself, knowing that odds were the overall sense of boredom he projected was probably infuriating if the other pilot was so eager to fight.
(Moved to C-7)
