Paige is a pragmatic and careful individual. She has a tendency to overthink and hyperfocus on negative, making her a pessimist. She tries not to let this negativity interrupt her work though. She has a deep respect for her comrades, and will go well out of her way to protect and comfort them. She has a deep hatred of the federation government as she sees them as "the monsters who stole her family away" as for the zeons she serves them for a pragmatic reason, as a zeon soldier she can fight the federation and get her revenge, she doesn't care about the zabis, or "spacenoid superiority". Overall she appears to be a kind hearted if not very cynical woman. When she enters the cockpit of an MS she can black out and take on a different persona
As NERO
NERO is much more cold-hearted than Paige. She's very hotblooded and competitive with a literal *take no prisoners mindset*. Despite her cold hearted, ruthless nature she does hold respect for good fighters, she would greatly prefer to take a fellow ace in a one on one duel than to use tricky tactics. Nero often will berate and yell at her comrades for poor performance. Oddly enough NERO is never seen without some form of facial masking and almost seems to be an amalgamation of Paige's idea of Zeon aces and her knowledge of her brother.

Paige is from a military family who were big supporters of Zeon, her parents died when she was young bso she was raised by her brother Nero O'Donnell. Nero was a well known yet quite elusive ace pilot also known as the white ogre due to his white gouf. He was massacred along with his squad during the battle of Solomon. Feeling the weight of her lineage and rage at the federation for stealing her brother from her, she suffered a mental fracture and gave her drive to join the military to get revenge. During her military career she was able to prove herself as a pilot but her mental instability prevented her from moving up the ranks. After the
One Year War she acted the pilot of a prototype gouf under Clara Marquez
