But, to those that he does not know, while he has trouble distancing himself from their suffering, he has learned to do so out of necessity. Savino is very ambitious, very goal-oriented, and wants a better life for himself. While he had been hardened, his sense of curiosity never left him. When a decision needs to be made, he is quick to make one, but not rash like in his younger days.

BIOGRAPHY |
---|
Conscripted near the end of the One Year War into Zeon's Flanagan Institute at the young age of ten Savino was fell under the interest of a Researcher and Scientist named Cäsar Matthäus. The reason for this interest being Cäsar's interest in the process in which a New Type awakens. For this Savino was subject to several experiments, their compliance not being a factor. However, these experiments to try and artificially increase his latent abilities or speed the process forward were cut short. Zeon in a desperate need of Pilots moved forward with having the Flanagan Institute begin training him as well as several others in the use of what abilities they had for battle. Despite protests from Cäsar who believed he was on the verge of a breakthrough Savino was put through very basic and simplified training in the use of a mobile suit. After showing some promise he was shipped off to Side Three to become a part of a rear line unit garrisoning the Zeon capital. It was either that or send him off to A Baoa Qu. While being a NewType, even a weak one, the boy was simply too young to be of any real use at A Baoa Qu.
The unit he was sent as a part of was attached to the Side 3 Capital Defense Division. Once in the Capital he began to make friends with other Child Soldiers and saw some mentoring from veteran pilots of the Division his unit had been attached to. It is also here that the desperate propaganda that Zeon had been calling out for, their cry for Endsieg began to make an impression on him. His memory before being recruited into the Flanagan Institute was muddled and vague, but these last few months and weeks of the war made an impression on him. Zeon had become exhausted, but many of the people around him expressed a will to fight on. They all felt they were morally just, their grievances with the Federation just, and that they could somehow win in the end. He didn't understand it at the time, it was all so much bigger than him. Sometimes it was hard to tell when someone was being genuine, or just making sure they were putting on a face for the kid. Some contradictions stuck out to him, things that seemed odd, but as a recruited soldier he was reminded his place rather quickly. Despite this, he grew to truly care for the people of the colonies, in a more understanding way. He became obsessed with the mobile suits he was meant to work with as well as other facets around that.
However when those final weeks and then days counted down to zero, and Zeon's Prime Minister Darcia Bakharov signed the Treaty of Granada everything to him felt off. People he had grown close to who had hoped for the last moment victory were disgruntled with this turn of events. When the order came to stand down there was a mixed reception. Those that had seemed more tired complied, but those hardliners, like the ones he had grown to know refused to surrender. They shouted those words out which imprinted in his mind. "Zeon Alive!!!" The one who shouted this first among his unit told him and the other child soldiers that they were needed for the next war. They were the future of not just Zeon, but of all the Spacenoids. They were needed, and so without very much resistance or hesitation Savino joined them and they escaped Side 3 on a Tivvay-class. They were, however, unable to link up with other Zeon remnant forces nor did they realize that many had fled to Axis, a place that was held in secrecy that they did not exactly know about. Instead, they found a colony to call their home and to act as their base of operations using the help of locals sympathetic to them.
---
Savino did not participate in Operation Stardust and instead served in an Auxilary role. Watching from the sidelines, or rather listening. He was a child watching a struggle to deal a fatal blow to the Federation, a blow that instead created their next biggest threat. The Titans, which relentlessly hunted he and his fellow Zeon remnants all across the colonies and Earth. They had settled in one place that he had begun to see as a home but saw the tired and weary looks on his comrades. They had become disillusioned, the shouting of Zeon Alive was gone from their eyes. But it didn't matter, he was here for the next war. After being discovered on Side 5 due to Cäsar discovering them the Zeon Remnants were forced to flee to the Moon. There, their Captain managed to work out a deal to save their behinds and get them the equipment they desperately needed. Savino served for the duration of the Gryps Conflict. Eventually, after many years of fighting, he became disillusioned with his place and the cause as well and called it quits retiring. His life had been torn apart and put back together so many times, and there was no peace for him in the site. So, he moved to Mars.
