Distant and seemingly aloof. Shiro is a broken young girl that has secluded herself in her profession as a mobile suit pilot. Deeply traumatized after a life of constant abuse she goes out of her way to avoid any meaningful interaction with others outside the cockpit.

The daughter of a Earth forces pilot and a nurse. Shiro's father had expected a son he was sorely dissapointed to know his wife had given birth to a girl. These negative feelings poisoned the man psyche from within. Once Shiro was 4 years old he began actively abusing his daughter physically and psychologically at the slightest provocation. As soon as she turned 14 her father forced her to sign up as a cadet in the Earth Federation, her nature caused her to also be bullied incessantly by other recruits who took advantage of her fragile self-stem, however she had proved to have good natural abilities when it came to handling the training regime despite being the class punching bag.
Once she graduated he engineered a way to obtain a RGM-79 so he could train Shiro in their own private time. He was much stricter than their already tyrannical instructors. Fortunately for Shiro, he was to be recalled into service for a deployment which he didn't come back from. His death was classified as a state secret. Her mother died under mysterious circumstances one day, leaving her orphaned and to fend for herself entirely. Shiro was forced to sell her body to put food on the table until she was old enough to fully enlist but by then her psyche had been shattered leaving her vulnerable to continuous abuse by her peers.
Eventually she was bought by a certain Captain Marina Von Witzland who quickly gained an interest in the girl after seeing her perform during an exercise back in Luna II. Marina herself gave her the surname of Yamada since Shiro had no interest in keeping or even remembering her parents name. Shiro was the nassigned to Wizard squadron along with many other war orphans such as herself. |

| HISTORICAL & TECHNICAL NOTES | | The only remaining example of the Sinaju Stein program. THis mobile suit is shrouded in mystery. Marina Von Witzland bought it from a sleazy AE salesman and had it assigned to Shiro upon her entry in Wizard squadron. Rumor has it all of the Zeon pilots who gaze into it want to seize it as a war trophy. |
