PERSONALITY & TRAITS |
---|
Ryota is the type to act first and ask questions later. Unsurprisingly, that’s gotten him into trouble fairly often. He tends to be a loudmouth and is a bit hot-headed, which doesn’t help keep him out of trouble. If he sees a girl he finds attractive, he’ll usually do his best to flirt with her. He is more interested in doing what he wants rather than what he has to do. But he cares a lot about his friends and family, even if he might not show it sometimes.

BIOGRAPHY |
---|
Unlike his older sister, Ryota was never really exposed to his mother’s stricter parenting. He was still only a toddler when his mother and former Titan member, Ryoko Kihara, was arrested and sentenced to 20 years. His father did his best for both of his children, but he often found himself overwhelmed with his work to make sure he could support his family.
Because their father was often quite busy, Ryota spent quite a bit of time with his older sister, Akemi. She would take care of him and the two were fairly close. But just as Ryota started entering that more rebellious phase of his life, his older sister started working and was away for longer and longer. And with their father still working all the time, Ryota was on his own. He started acting up in school and getting into fights, often coming up with new scrapes and bruises. The teen would spend more time with his friends doing whatever he wanted, not having that same sense of discipline as Akemi.
Ryota never planned on joining the Federation, but he was eventually convinced into enlisting. It dawned on him that with his mother in prison, his father always working, and his sister gone, home didn’t feel like home.
