"Falcon-2 here. Requesting permission to launch." Sig would request speaking briefly into his mic as he sat there waiting. Sig went through the checks as he waited for a response. Fuel levels were at maximum, so no need to worry about running out of fuel. Power outputs were standard, and there were no connection issues. So he would be able to interface with his weapons no problem. But it all felt off now. Ever since he got to use that New Type use mobile suit, manual mobile suit felt a bit awkward. Regardless, this is what he had trained on, or well, manual at the very least. This cockpit layout was very different. It had all the features one would expect, but some added or laid out differently. It had a very different feel to it.

"Rasputin, GM Custom, Launching!" She would say as she deployed from the MS Catapult, she would keep herself close to the ship making it clear to others that her role was defensive and not offensive, wanting there to be no mixed signals that could start a conflict. The suit thankfully had a more similar feel to her old Gundam than a GM, likely due to the magnetic coating and other small upgrades to this GM Custom versus the other GMs she had used in the past. She'd keep an eye on her sensors and cameras, waiting to see how the opposing side responds, all she could do know is wait as she kept up her perimeter.

" Understood, sir." For the time being, Fatima would be a good girl and do as instructed. The RX-78 would be moved to the catapult, being equipped with a long 180mm gun along with two five round extra magazines, attached to the back skirt.
The two GM Quells would be launched first and shortly after the black Gundam armed with the artillery piece. Now she noticed there was another ship but Sig's presence had vanished as if he was trying to hide after noticing her presence. " I'll begin sweeping the surface." There was the possibility they were still trying to breakthrough the surface of the moon. The presence of the Achilles seemed like a mere coincidence.

Maximilian listened to the reply from the Achilles. Letting it slide into place as a new piece of the puzzle. it begged a new response to provoke a response that would in turn tell him much more than the words alone would be able to convey. He also took notice of the equipment Fatima had chosen to deploy with as his second team was preparing to sortie after Colette launched.
"Well Achilles we noticed your out alone after reports of three federation ships being sunk by a single zeonic cruiser. We are just making a sweep to ensure that you don't need to go back for repairs so soon." The bait was now set by the comms officer. The Achilles position wasn't something that normal crew might think twice about. After all it was part of the legendary Pegasus line. ships that had proved their ability to hold out on their own when fully loaded. But for Maximilian it was something that nagged at the back of his mind. Such a ship fresh from repairs would surely have some kind of at least light escort considering the circumstances. Which again brought him to the conclusion that it was being used as bait, being strong armed... or as his mind processed even some small overlooked details it could be held hostage and boarded by the zeonic remnants. Worse still it might... it might... It might be colluding with the zeonic elements or even defecting.
This sent a ripple of frustration through Maximilian that began to build beneath his normally expressionless facade. It began feeding back in on itself as Maximilians own hatred was stoked causing his latent abilities to act up and broadcast his building anger strong enough that Fatima and Tabitha could feel it as it grew and reached out. It was a raw emotion that was like the bleed off from a blast furnace. This particular furnace it seemed was getting ready to release a potential blast as it glacially grew in strength.

"GM Sniper Custom on standby" being placed on the hangar deck she would wait for an actual message from command.
Though it was already time to deploy there's a slight chance that being a long range support fighter wouldn't be necessary for this mission instead she would equip a 90mm Machine Gun and a Bazooka to compensate for range irregularities and all the while this was happening the engineers finally made some final adjustments on the unit.

Amelie was watching the Tobruk while she and Maximilian were speaking and saw the mobile suits being launched from it. She breathed slowly, just waiting to hear back from the comms officer. She could feel the pressure on herself as the conversation continued. The brunette wanted this as badly as every other person who had chosen to join this group. But in this moment, it felt like the weight of everything rested on her shoulders.
She listened to Maximilian's voice as he began to speak again, hearing him warn her about the danger in the area after three other Federation ships had been 'sunk'. "We made sure to take precautions before launching," she explained. "We're prepared in case we run into any trouble. But thank you for keeping the area secure, Tobruk." Amelie hoped this would be the end of her interaction with the Tobruk as the Achilles continued to move. Once they were a safe distance from the Titan ship, she would be able to take a breath.

Sig had a bad feeling about this, a slightly tingle up his spine. So, he decided to make sure he was ready to launch the moment the order was given. The Galbaldy β unlatched from the rack it was on and took a step onto the deck. Walking down the center he came up to the weapons and equipment rack. From there he grabbed a shield with his left hand, preloaded with two missiles. Then, he grabbed a beam rifle which connected neatly into place."Falcon-2 Ready to launch. Awaiting further orders." after being given permission he would walk the mobile suit over to the catapult system, and engage. Feet locked in place he get ready, staring forward his eyes scanning around him. Suddenly, he would move forward as is mobile suit was sling shotted out by the catapult. Sig pressed into his seat before kicking off, the void of space rushing to greet him as he propelled himself out and away.

"Launching" with proper clearance the catapult bay had now launched her GM now equipped with specialist specific equipment like the rest of the unit had launched she would stay near the backline and support from the frontline as needed.

Ana would take this time to look over towards the Titans ship, occasionally lifting her eyepatch and letting her cybernetic eye work in tandem with what the cameras were showing her, additional data being fed into and shown to her, before she lowered the eyepatch, everything seeming clear enough for now and not needing the extra strain her implanted eye would give her from constant use.

There was absolutely nothing to be seen on the nearby surface which meant Sig was likely somewhere in that ship. Fatima saw no need to inform this to Maximillian. Certainly he would be able to come up to that conclusion the moment her RX-78 began approaching the Achilles in an attack vector. She was clearly going for the gap in their perimeter before the Galbaldy could link up with that GM custom from earlier.
She came to a sudden stop at some distance from the Pegasus class carrier, the barrel of that heavy 170mm field gun aiming at the catapult as Cornelius mobile suit lined up for launch.
" I've found them." The first shell fired struck the GM custom from the left elbow down. With these new parts she could afford to be rougher when it came to managing the recoil of that big gun, getting the smoking barrel back on target as the struck GM custom rolled out of control. The next round would simply knock it away from the deck, exploding into a fireball some distance away from the ship.

Sig felt a a wave of malicious intent hit him, and that was all he needed to know they had been found. He glanced to the side, seeing the Gundam in the distance, and then a flash. Sig held his breath, and for the longest single moment in his life he turned back in his seat, and saw where the shot had went. Another flash, a bit of sparkle as debris scattered out. The GM rolled uncontrollably and for a brief moment he hoped that Cornelius could pull out. No, the reactor went in a nearly blinding flash as a brief fireball erupted. They were gone.
The eye of the Galbaldy β turned as Sig sternly took hold of his controls. His brain automatically going to a fight response, a sense of anger taking him over as he hyper focused on the Gundam. If he had been hiding his presence before, he no longer was. His normally quiet and calm demeanor broke in that moment as the mono eye flashed at his target."This must be the war!" he almost shouted. Pressing the pedals as far as they could go Sig began to home in on the Gundam. Pressing Vernier motors moving into a zig zag pattern as he approached.
The quick and rather nimble Gabaldy was closing the gap quickly as Sig tried to avoid the aim of that 170mm gun. Raising his beam rifle he sent out a volley of three shots leading his target for the cockpit. He wanted her dead.

Maximilian stood at his command seat as he put the pieces togeather in fury. Using the last of his control he handed the command to his XO. He knew that if he stayed on the bridge his fury would grow. But luckily the XO was a much more patient and taciturn woman. She already had an idea of what to do as she began to issue orders as maximilian took his leave. The second team of Quels was now being deployed and yet a third team was being readied.
Maximilian decided that the best way for him to alleviate his building emotional state was to take a hands on approach. This was hammered home as he boarded his own Quel and moved for deployment. As his mobile suit was being equipped with its 90mm GM rifle and shield. He took a secondary 100mm machine gun with an extended Box magazine. He knew fatima would be I'll prepaired for close combat with that behemoth cannon she deployed with. Despite her melee prowess it was always a good idea to keep some kind of ranged punch if small on hand.
Soon his quel was at the launch bay after comandeering the new quel team as an escort. He knew time was of the essence as the Achilles would have an eassier time deploying it's suits if the battle stayed close to it. Meaning reinforcements wouldn't need to exactly launch and could bring heavy Ordinance to bear with a stable footing.
"Maximilian Deploying." Was the man's only words as he was catapulted into space. The light reflected from the moon catching the gold embellishments making the Quel look like some kind of specter. Shortly the three Quels behind him launched.
"Achillies, Please stand down. We don't wish to cause uneccesary casualties. We offer a chance to surrender. Lest both our hands become needlessly bloodied." The communications officer broadcast in a nuetral tone. But it was obvious they knew that the Achillies was as good as traitor. Not even adressing the fact that their own mobile suits were now engaging in combat seemingly needlessly.

Amelie was silent as she watched the mobile suits launching from the Tobruk. Everything about it was putting the brunette on edge as she remained on the bridge, just hoping to herself they would make it away from the ship and not have to deal with them. But then she noticed suits launching from their ship. "Shit... what are they doing..." she muttered to herself. And then she saw one of the suits that had launched from the Titan ship, an RX-78, approaching quickly. "No no no..." she said softly, biting her teeth together hard as she watched everything unfold.
The former Federation Captain's eyes were huge when she saw the RX-78 firing toward them, disabling the GM Custom that was attempting to launch and sending it spiraling out of control. The pilot never even had a chance to try to right themselves before another shot was fired. She felt a cold chill run through her body when the suit exploded, the shock from it rocking the ship and making Amelie yell out as she gripped her seat tightly. She watched as debris from the GM Custom slammed against the hull of the Achilles, wincing from the sound of it.
Thinking about what she'd just watched and this horrible feeling inside of her, Amelie's thoughts momentarily drifted to what felt like not long ago when she'd nearly been killed if not for Sig's protection. But as she thought about it, something about this feeling inside of her was very familiar. Like these horrible malicious feelings... Before she could put the pieces together, she heard Maximilian's voice over the comms, 'requesting' they stand down. She balled her hands up into fights as her frustration only grew and grew, not answering the man. Instead, she needed to try to let out that frustration. "FUCK!"

As the supposed battle was taking place she had now opened the target finder on the GM Sniper Custom and made for nearby support but making sure to stay away from the Big Guns sensory range with the rifle in hand she would scope into the big gun's tripod and only aim waiting for the order to fire if necessary all the while this about to ensue and hearing the transmission from the communications officer she would only take the shot if things really got out of hand.

Ana would sigh to herself, "Well this sure got out of hand fast, guess I better help out before that Gundam takes out more of my team." She would grip the controls tighter as she accelerated the suit forward, moving up to take out the Gundam on a different path than the Galbaldy, not wanting to make it easy for their opponent. "This is Rasputin, I got your back" she would say over the comms as she'd aim her beam rifle and fire off a few shots at the Gundam as well. It really would be a shame not to pay it back for the GM Custom we already lost.
