PERSONALITY & TRAITS |
---|
The personification of a wrecking ball fits Almakai the most. Destructive, impulsive and utterly aggressive. Of course it's not as if she doesn't have an off switch. When in more casual and normal environments she tends to be the strong silent type, but the variation of her idle expressions speak of her tendency to judge others in a condescending manner. Correct to a point she's physically superior to other Humans Old and Newtypes alike, and that serves to make her incredibly confident. Headstrong, relentless and driven with an uncanny amount of willpower. Despite lacking attempts to perform in a formal environment, Almakai constantly treats formal scenarios informally. The only reason she has gotten to the point she's at currently; a grunt is because of her exceptional skills that serve as one of many assets to the Federation and formerly the JEF. She embodies much of the spirit of the Jupiter Colonies, a product of her birthplace. She has a win or lose, strong or weak ideology and thrives in that condition. She judges others harshly and criticizes them even more, but catch her in a greater than normal mood and she just might be relaxed and casual enough to hold a conversation without making rude remarks. She enjoys indulgences - namely food due to the massive appetite her frame has put upon her, primarily meats and other protein based fatty foods. On top of that, while 'enhanced' she's still Human, and has a capacity for romance if the stars aligned. Other than that, she admires bravery and courage in the face of overwhelming odds and looks down on cowardice and snake-like tactics. Partly the reason that she was so quick to jump on the offer to transfer from the JEF to the Earth Federation forces. |
BIOGRAPHY |

The Jupiter Colonies, commonly known as the Human races primary source of mobile suit fuel, Helium 3. Outside of outsider depiction however the Jupiter Colonies run with a strict process befitting of the harsh and unforgiving environment added with the necessity for attaining nutrition in the void of space. Over the years more resource factories had been built and the population had increased to fill those positions, yet that population growth always made rations harsh. Barely enough food to get by, with trying to take more being punishable via extreme methods as far as execution. Almakai was one of these citizens, getting a number tattooed onto the back of her hand as is the culture within the Jupiter Colonies. Everyone is efficient and direct, and what a better way to understand who the other person is than to see the number dictating who they are on the back of their hand. Outside of the Jupiter Colonies considering this process is unknown, whether these numbers represent status within the Colonies or just a number for what citizen they are is unknown to all but the citizens themselves. To say it was a strange place was being modest. The fringe of active space made for a place where it was easy to disconnect from ones peers and become dangerous. Defined by a dog eat dog world where the survival of the fittest was put into law, each day posed new threats that could result in the end of a persons life. Among this chaos, Almakai would lose one of her parents in ultimate a pressure burst as an extended altercation ended in a minor hull breach; mother, specifically. Yet beyond the simple dangers of the Jupiter Colony was the scheming that the JEF and the government itself weren't known for quite yet. The isolation and separation of Jupiter provided an ideal environment for unethical experimentation with a prime population to pick from. While the Jupiter Colony still had no hand or clue as to Cyber Newtypes, other augmentations in the more conventional sense were being experimented with on the down low. One of these subjects would inevitably be Almakai. A child that was still in development and more genetically malleable than an adult, picked among thousands of other potential candidates for her already impressive ability to handle herself. Considering the Colonies left no hands without work, even as a kid she was subject to hard labour in resource factories generating water and food to be packaged up into rations; she did it well. Plucked away unsuspecting, she was taken to an entirely different colony in a secure location to be subject to numerous treatments. These included but were not limited to cellular, drug and hormonal treatments in order to optimize musculo-skeletal growth whilst exploiting a growing body to make it grow larger. This experimentation wasn't simply the product of deep space insanity, but rather an effort to improve the conditions of the Jupiter Colonies. The idea was that instead of needing twenty pairs of hands to make rations, needing forty servings spread among them all per day they could instead have one or two pairs of hands that took in ten to twenty servings a day. This improvement of efficiency would allow the Jupiter Colonies to streamline rations and provided more food to create a healthier, stronger baseline civilian that could then become an asset to the JEF. Of course, this didn't work out - at least not yet. While she certainly could perform the task as desired by the end of all of the treatments before and after she'd grown up, there were complications. The most noticeable of these flaws was the extreme mental instability that the treatments had developed in her. Bipolarity, intense emotional outbursts primarily consisting of anger or excitement. The cumulative stress of the amount of hormonal disruption and chaos added with the intense drug diet caused equally potent coping mechanisms to manage. Frequently Almakai let out her anger on the things around her, destroying equipment and endangering people. She never walked a public hallway in the Jupiter Colonies again after that point. So instead, considering the iteration that was her of the augmentation experiment didn't work for the intended purpose, she was conscripted into the JEF and given more ethical treatment. She served in the Jupiter Energy Fleet Security branch, working alongside officers and administrators carting Helium-3 to Mars Zeon and The Earth Federation Forces. Thankfully, this new exposure and outlet to get her mind focused seemed to dull her volatile personality to a palatable potency. She served the JEF for a total of three years on multiple back and forth trips between the Colonies, Mars and Earth before eventually through developing maturity she caught wind of the JEF's sly attempt to burrow under the skin of the other military bodies and informally resigned while in the middle of a shipment, stationed on Earth. Considering her particularly interesting induction into the Jupiter Energy Fleet, one can imagine this wasn't taken lightly. Yet instead considering the JEF had better ties with The Earth Federation Forces than Mars Zeon, a compromise was made to have her work with The Earth Federation Forces. There she could rarely provide updates of the EFF's progress when Helium-3 shipments arrived, and they could still keep tabs on her. With that, the JEF arranged her transfer with the EFF, resulting in her acquiring the lowest possible rank in the EFF after a years worth of additional Mobile Suit training on top of the previous experience she had with the JEF. She excelled in her training, and it only served to allow her to push the bar higher and higher than she had before. Confident in her abilities by the time she graduated and became an official EFF MS Pilot, she was assigned one of the MSA-0011 S Gundams and was permitted to commission any additional handheld armaments she might want; after being cleared by EFF officials to be logically sound, of course. And so Almakai did what any reasonable, mentally unstable and violence driven thrill riding augmented person might do. She ordered a custom built high powered pneumatic assisted hammer for her Mobile Suit weighing five tons alone. On top of that she had a variant handheld Mega Gatling Gun made with a large six hundred round ammo drum attached to it. And soon, they was done. Around the corner was the Martian War. She couldn't be looking forward to it more. |

HISTORICAL & TECHNICAL NOTES |
A.L.I.C.E The MSA-0011 Ex-S Gundam is equipped with the A.L.I.C.E. System (Advanced Logistic & In-consequence Cognizing Equipment). A.L.I.C.E. is an artificial intelligence, that co-pilots the Ex-S Gundam. It is capable of detecting incoming threats, avoiding threats that the pilot might not have noticed or had too little reaction to avoid. In addition, two beam cannons have been removed from the thighs in order to hook up more power into the Beam Smart Gun for a total of 56 MW's of output power. |
