| Demonstrating psychopathic traits such as a lack of empathy towards others and poor sense of right and wrong Cäsar Matthäus mostly sees others as objects and tools. Traits only reinforced by years of having the ends justify the means in project after project, being given check after check for each success. However Cäsar is a manipulator as well, able to disguise his worst traits among others for politeness sake. But he has little patience, and is known to slap insubordinate who have incurred his wrath. |

Starting his career as a scientist within the Principality of Zeon at the Flanagan Institute as a Newtype Research and Weapons Development Scientist Cäsar Matthäus was cold and efficient. He had been fascinated with the New Type theory since it was first introduced, and so when given the opportunity to participate in research, he took that chance. It was while here that he encountered the EXAM system before it's designer Chlust Moses ran off with it. The idea of a New Type's soul being able to get transferred from place to place gave him many ideas. It made him wonder how far such a concept could be taken. It also put other thoughts about perhaps artificial new types into his head. However before getting a real chance to explore these ideas the war ended and he shipped off to Axis.
Cramped and without the resources like he had before he found the conditions less then optimal, however he was free to do as he pleased here. Though he was starting to miss his home in the Jupiter Sphere. But they were keeping a close eye on him, and with the work on Artificial New Types he couldn't resist staying a bit longer. But his time there did eventually end, and he would escape himself back to the Jupiter Sphere. It is here that some of his larger ambitions would take hold, and he would with the help of Gilliam family and the Jupiter Sphere Defence Forces establish the Galileo Institute. He was given a limited amount of time to produce results before funding would be cut off. |
