A confident idealist Saturnus has little patience for people whom are pragmatic in nature having been radicalized at a young age. However while his reasoning is idealistic that does not mean he is someone to run into somthing blind, on the contrary he is very methodical in nature when carrying out his duties. The key is he lets his ideals inform his decision making, and puts them above most other factors whether he realize it or not. He is the type to put the idea of a perceived greater good above all else, and is hardly trusting of others. Saturnus can come off as empathetic, but other times seemingly cut himself off when the situation needs it. He carries his regrets inside never to let them out, knowing that the road to salvation is paved with blood. Saturnus is rather sociable, both out of necessity and out of an interest in others.
Biography:
Saturnus was born the only son of a Jupiter Energy Fleet Captain and spent his childhood on a Jupitris-class going back and forth between Jupiter and the Earth. On these trips he got to see first hand the difference between the Earth Sphere and the Jupiter Sphere. The Earth Sphere being much more well off, especially in the colonies. He would learn from the crew that the reason for this was because the Earth Federation had never helped the Jupiter Colonies, unlike the ones in their own sphere. Indeed, Jupiter had built itself up and yet the Earth made massive demands of the Jupiter Sphere for it's own greedy consumption. When he asked his father about this he would be told that it is just the way it had to be.
Upon coming of age and returning to the Jupiter Sphere Saturnus would spend a short time within the Jupiter Sphere Defence Forces where he became a pilot. His time within the JSDF only made his dislike for the Federation grow, seeing them only respond to threats such as pirates when it directly effected their interests. This was without him knowing that sometimes it was possibly due to the JSDF themselves. Regardless his desire for an independent Jupiter grew day by day. He also saw others around him who thought much the same as he did. However while there were people whom wanted to see a independent Jupiter these thoughts were constantly cracked down upon. People who discussed it and were caught by superiors were corrected. It was here that Saturnus learned of the servile nature of Rhys Gilliam and his regime. An old type to his core, an old fool whom didn't see the way things as they were. or they knew and knowingly went against his own people. Regardless, he started to wonder if Paptimus Scirocco had some things right.
After his term in the JSDF was up he would go to the Galileo Institute after learning of whom their project lead was. He would go to them with an offer, and a demand. Saturnus offered to lend his new type potential to the program in return for support in his future activities. In return that they give his cause a worthy leader. There was resistance at first, but eventually the other researchers were over ruled by a curious Cäsar Matthäus whom had goals of his own. Officially Saturnus due to his experience in the JSDF was presented as a security staff member while he was a research subject.
