Caitlyn has an outgoing and friendly personality. She's physically active and loves exercising as way to relax from her demanding duties as second in command of a warship. She's not really bad intentioned but tends to rely on other people's approval to make certain decisions. As such, she can be a little insecure at times. Caitlyn cares a lot about her subordinates and will do anything for them. She's a hard worker and will do what she has to in order to complete a task. She's friendly and enjoys talking to people and joking with them, though she can tell when she's close to crossing the line and in a way that's her greatest weakness. |  |
BIOGRAPHY |
Caitlyn was born in the North American East coast to a middle class family. Her father was an EF airman while her mother worked as an elementary school teacher. Mr. Anderson seldom spent time with the family since his job involved him traveling from coast to coast in assignments he wasn't allowed to freely discuss to friends or relatives. When Caitlyn turned seven, her mother received the news that her husband had been killed in action during the opening stages of the Zeon invasion of North America. The Andersons were spared since the Zeon occupation of northern America did not extend to the entire continent but Caitlyn and her mother had to resort to drastic measures to keep food on the table during the harshest months. Being an outdoor type of girl she learned basic hunting and firearm handling since she was in her early teens. Caitlyn developed a passion for game hunting and through the years considers it to be her favorite past time. This skills allowed her to survive the aftermath of operation Stardust in which north america's food production was crippled after a colony drop on the midwest continental USA. Instead of pursuing a career, Caitlyn enrolled in the Earth Federation Space Forces once she turned 18, mostly due to their extensive benefits and education funds. Training was a breeze for her and after the three years of contract were up she enrolled into the officer's school, deciding to stay in the space forces as a liaison officer. Caitlyn married at the age 28, retiring for a few years to take care of her own children. Unfortunately, her husband died on a training exercise under bizarre circumstances leaving her with the responsibility of looking after their children. Knowing she'd be able to find a good position within the EFSF she re-enlisted once again and left her five year old daughter and three year old son with her other relatives. By then, the wars against Neo Zeon had come and gone. She continues to serve on board the Edelweiss as its chief executive officer and is Captain Marina Von Witzland second in command. |
