"It's a tough job but someone has to do it" Lorena's father was Hermann Seydlitz, a Ball operator during the one year war, her mother a Clara Schmidt was a simple nurse who meet him at the end of the war tending to the wounds he'd sustained during the closing months of the war. Lorena was their second child, and Hermann would die later that year in an skirmish against Zeon remnants during the events of Operation Stardust. Lorena was raised by her mother and elder brother Johann. She grew up idolizing the memory of her father and would enlist in the space forces academy as soon as she graduated from school. Lorena was so passionate about mobile weapons she breezed through basic and advanced training, graduating at the top of her class and being assigned a position on board the flagship of the 5th Lunar fleet. A few years later she was selected to take part in a special operations recruitment campaign. The Space Forces wanted to create an spec ops team of their own separate from ECOAS chain of command since Londo Bell was disbanded in 106 Lorena was selected to lead Wizard Squadron under the direct command of Commodore Von Witzland. |

| The final machine of Anaheim Electronics' Delta-type series, the Gundam Delta Kai is an enhanced version of the MSN-001A1 Delta Plus, which is used to demonstrate new experimental technologies that can be used for future mobile suits. As such, the unit is greatly overhauled from the regular Delta Plus, modifying both the MS and Waverider forms as well as enhancing its Variable Frame. Several Thrusters were also fitted into the unit's legs and back skirt which allows the MS to fly in both space and under gravity, giving it tremendous amount of speed and maneuverability. The overall Waverider mode can also function as a subflight system when needed. Aside from the aesthetic change, the Delta Kai is fitted with various experimental weaponry derived from older mobile suits. This gives it a higher attack power and versatility than the Delta Plus, however despite the amount of weapons equipped it is very complicated to use in a tactical situation. The Delta Kai is also equipped with a specialized system called the n_i_t_r_o System, allowing regular pilots to gain Cyber Newtype-like abilities. |
