These is a small list of the hand portable weapons available to mobile suits from any faction.
-Machineguns-
120mm Zaku Machinegun: Fairly powerful but has the slowest rate of fire ( around 200 rounds per minute). Has a wide selection of ammo types ranging from standard penetrators to the most dangerous high explosive. Holds 65 rounds in a magazine.
MMP-80: 90mm machinegun. Features a higher velocity shell than the 120mm, giving it better armor piercing capabilities. it's rate of fire is nearly double of the Zaku machinegun giving it superior fire power up close despite firing a somewhat smaller projectile. Holds 100 rounds in a magazine
100mm Earth Federation machinegun: The most balanced automatic of them all. Compact size, offers decent firepower and easy of carry. moderate rate of fire and can fire a wide variety of ammo types. Holds 65 rounds in a box type magazine.
90mm GM Rifle: The Earth Federation preferred machinegun. Exceptional armor piercing characteristics and best accuracy in its class. holds 100 rounds in a magazine.
75mm Gatling with shield: Light support Zeonic weapon with a high rate of fire. Holds 300 rounds in ammo container and cannot be reloaded in combat.
Beam Rifles and Beam machineguns.
EF Beam Carbine: a low output, fast firing beam carbine with a capacity of 20 rounds.
EF Long beam rifle: Twice as powerful as the beam carbine and with a longer range, moderate range of fire in semi-automatic, Can deploy a beam bayonnet from the muzzle and be used as a lance of sorts. Capacity of 15 rounds.
Improved Beam Carbine: a new model of beam carbine that offers superior handling and overall performance over the standard model. it's less portable and has the same 20 round capacity. Can be reloaded in combat by inserting fresh magazine
Zeonic Beam rifle: Mars Zeon standard issue long range beam rifle. Mounts a grenade launcher that fires a rocket propelled shaped charge. Holds 15 rounds.
Mars Zeon beam assault rifle: Fully automatic low output beam gun. Can be outfitted with grenade launcher and radar guided sight. Holds 30 round in a magazine and can be reloaded in combat by inserting fresh magazine.
EF Mega Beam Launcher: Fires a powerful beam capable of causing wide damage to war ships. Slow rate of fire, capacity for five shots.
EF beam sniper rifle: Light support weapon. Fires a focused beam but requires to be connected to a separate power source. The generator must be carrier separately. One generator can produce a 30 second long beam emission.
Mars Zeon Mega Launcher: Can fire a powerful beam or be used as a scattering gun with a wide spread. High damage, capacity of eight fully charged shots.
Four barreled beam Gatling gun: Modern beam gatling with high rate of fire. Excellent in medium to close range. Capacity of fifty rounds.
Beam Smart Gun: Radar guided next generation beam cannon. Adjustable energy settings allow it to be used as powerful high precision weapon or as a normal beam rifle. Can be slaved to an EWAC signal for extended accuracy beyond visual range.
