Valerie is incredibly confident and competitive and makes a show of her battles. Being a police officer and having some military experience, Valerie is trained in the use of various weapons and martial arts, as well as other skills like driving. Bringing her actual fighting style into the Gunpla ring she focuses on taking advantages away from her opponents and overpowering them, and fights back until she has absolutely nothing left if forced into a corner. This aggressive style and flash earns her the nickname "Centurion" from her fans, and less flattering names from others. Valerie enjoys hunting, occasionally fishes with her pet husky, Castle, and loves cocoa. Her favorite Gundam series is Gundam X, despite her tendency to fight with the Federation's "GM" and grunts of other series.

Valerie was born and raised in Lombardy, Italy as an only child, which was probably for the best. She spent most of her time with her Grandfather, a veteran and Gunpla fighter. In addition to introducing Valerie to Gunpla he would spend time telling her stories of his past escapades, and eventually taught her survival skills such as hunting and self-defense. At times she would bring model kits for the two of them to build together, often awestruck by the painting and weathering her Grandfather applied. Needless to say Valerie's Grandfather turned her onto the idea of following his career path, both in service and in Gunpla. She was happy listening to his stories and found enjoyment in fighting and the challenge of his harsh lessons. This would all come to a head years later when he passed away.
Today Valerie works as a Constable in the nation thanks to former training as a military volunteer, but aims to join their SWAT team once she meets the requirements. For the time being however, she is looking forward to a promotion to Senior Constable. Valerie discovered Gundam as a child and got involved in building Gunpla shortly after. Her building skill improved with her age but her imagination is somewhat limited, only interested in re-creating modern and Gundam-related technologies.

The GM Guard Polizia embodies all of Valerie's skill in both Gunpla building and law enforcement, though she will hint that there is room for improvement. The Gunpla is built from an RGM-79HC GM Guard Custom fitted to a Real Grade inner frame. Though its outward appearance has hardly changed, this customized GM Guard has been reinforced with additional materials. Major changes include modifications to the backpack, allowing it to attach other equipment such as a saber rack or shoulder cannon, and the replacement of the shoulder-mounted vulcans with higher caliber machine cannons. Valerie often makes use of the new slots to carry an underarm multi-purpose launcher that can be separated from the backpack and hand-carried. This launcher is able to load and fire the grenade types that have been added to the shield. The only pieces of equipment that are untouched are the beam spray gun, which remains a side-arm, and the head-mounted vulcans.
A thin metal sheet has been sandwiched into the shield to help it live up to its original purpose without adding much weight. Two grenade racks have been added to the inside of the shield, allowing Valerie to choose up to six various grenades to take into battle with her. The vulcan guns on the face of the shield are unchanged. Oddly, Valerie has also built a storage rack in the center of the shield to carry a stock GN sniper rifle II from the Cherudim Gundam. The only modification to the rifle being the removal of its crystal sensor, the weapon is capable of vulcan-like automatic fire, beam rifle fire, and can be folded out into a sniper rifle which uses the GM's movable visor to aim.
The two beam daggers have been modified; now when docked in the forearms they can be extended outwards and electrified, shocking whatever they come into contact with. This jolt of power aims to scramble the particles in Gunpla it connects with, disrupting control of the affected part, but requires the GM Guard Polizia to be within punching-distance. The beams of the sabers themselves have also been modified and now resemble the flat, wide blade of a gladius.
