| "What's a Mob to a King?, A King to a God? and a God to an Unbeliever?" Born to the lineage of the Viscounty Falmouth albeit their family is not of the direct line they were still considered close candidates for succession should anything happen to the direct line of the Viscounty. The youngest of six children, and the second son. Named Julius Ahasuerus which meant "Young" and "Lion King" or "Great Warrior" in persian and in hebrew "Prince or Chief" respectively. Of his second name, it is not known which of all three meanings his father meant to use for him, but knowing his father and his birth being an answer to their prayers it is not too farfetched to say he may as well have wanted all of them for him. His naming convention as such because he was the second and younger son and his lion themed name was based on the Viscounty's emblem which had two sea lions in it. Being the youngest and the second son that was sorely wanted by his father as back-up should anything happen to his then sole brother instead of being spoiled he was treated almost like a prisoner under lock and key, having not more than less three bodyguards around him at all times. He was rarely allowed to play, as he was home tutored starting from a young age by the best teachers that Great Britain could offer them, his parents only wanting the best for him--However in this treatment instead of safety and security, he found isolation and loneliness instead. Unable to talk and play with anyone his peerage, he was allowed to play or make friends with others of high standing or lineage but to his dismay and disappointment found that most kids from the other royal lineages and high profile families to be either spoiled or stuck-up due to their fortuitous circumstance. Trying to find reason with what he viewed as mundane madness--Julius would soon find solace and comfort in their family's library; finding many friends in the characters he read, and going on adventures. One of his bodyguards would then break their silence,while he was scholastic and had a penchant for reading and writing, they had found Julius' life to be a miserable one without joy. Pitying the child, they would share his interest of model building with the then young boy. The bodyguard built warships, tanks and plane kits for a hobby, but understanding that it may even be more of a punishment than a hobby for Julius. They introduced to him the next best thing he could that stemmed from his hobby--Gundam and Gunpla. Julius would be enthralled by the very first Gundam show he would watch which was Gundam Wing, despite the heavy political overtones in it that did not stop from Julius appreciating both the politics and gundams in said show. He would be secretly gifted his gunpla which was an HG 1/144 Wing Gundam TV Ver., by his bodyguard and now close confidant and would also help him build the kit and teach him the basics and necessities of gunpla building, while he then soon would watch all the gundam shows available to him and buy all the limited edition DVDs and Blu-ray copies, his father would soon find out about his secret hobby when he was a teenager, as his massive collection was already hard to keep secret even with his bodyguard complicit. Thinking it would be a detriment to him and his future, his father forbade him from pursuing the hobby any further. Devastated initially, Julius would scrounge up every lesson he has learned and mastered and use it for this sole moment to dissuade his father on this matter, alas his father would not be swayed and his collection would be confiscated. Julius would try for years to convince his father of letting him indulge in the hobby. As luck would have it, "Diving" in the virtual world would soon be a worldwide phenomenon. Julius then decided to use the rave that is Gunpla Battling, to not only promote the Slater group of companies, but also bring fame to it as well. While his father was hesitant at first, he could not deny the rave that took the world and agreed to leave this endeavor and part of business to his son. Julius ecstactic at the chance started to customize his own gunpla using all the techniques and resources available to him, even putting out large sums of money when the need arose, while also learning the game and controls with his bodyguard as mentor, he would lose a lot of matches in the beginning, his father almost reneging on their deal, due to his apparent failures but then he would slowly but surely master the controls before quickly raising up his ranking in the world ranking charts as he then improved in leaps and bounds the stronger his opponent was. He would then soon be famous in not only in Europe but around the world, as he had also used his real name for his name in game. Next he would earn nicknames and titles such as "Lion King" or the "White Lion". Finding the recent boost in business and popularity to be satisfactory, his father would leave him be to indulge in it. Even if it was "unbecoming of royalty". Julius would become a Professional Gunpla Battler after graduating from Harrow School and then be part of a centralized European Force named "Valhalla", while leaving most of the work, anything about running the business to his secretary, becoming only a Chief Executive in name, only attending meetings when needed. Julius in game would retain his all his features and opt to not change his race or appearance for that matter, he afterall needed to promote their family and companies under them to gain massive public fame and support, and then wearing an almost all white combination of ceremonial robe and armor that is based on their family's real life ceremonial wear of the Viscounty of Falmouth to show his status all the moreso. Outside the virtual reality game however, he mostly wears dark colored formal wear or black ones contrary to his avatar in game.as it is what is expected of them as part of the royalty. He is well known for using two IBO based kits, namely the Bael and Vidar. |
