London England-Slater conglomerate headquarters 7:00 AM
London was not Marina Von Witzland kind of city. The cold and melancholic weather was something she could easily tolerate but her biggest complain was how rude people on the streets could be. The wealthy dame always made sure to keep a few extra eyes on her youngest child Julius, at 22 he was no longer a mere kid but this was a dangerous city. Julius bodyguards had been handpicked former soldiers from various European countries and she made sure they all got paid ahead of time. Marina herself had also seen that they were appropriately geared with law enforcement equipment.
That morning she had arrived at their corporate headquarter building in the company of her son and his caretaker Mr. Zeigler. They were dressed formally with Marina wearing a black skirt and vest combination with matching shoes. She didn't wear any jewelry save from a few accessories she kept on a handbag. There she kept the keys of the car and a handy pocket Walther pistol.
Mr. Zeigler donned a light Grey suit. His expression was more relaxed and would wave at the few female officer workers they came across on their way to an scheduled meeting. These offices were packed with busy salary men working in cubicles. This was the company head quarters and there was always a lot of work to be done.

London, England - Slater Conglomerate HQ 7:00 AM, Cloudy
The young silver haired heir yawned without reserve nor worry as he flipped through the thick papers neatly stapled that was in his right hand. He would look out the tinted windows of the car he was in as he took a break from reading what he sees as dreary reports that would be repeated in person anyways. The city of London was already bustling even at the early time of 7:00 am, and from a distance his mauve colored eyes would spot airplanes alighting and landing. It seemed like the flights were non-stop, and to him they might as well have taken the title of "The City that Never Sleeps" from New York. His secretary was talking business as she was on the front seat and while it did not interest him in the least, he had pretended to listen after all despite paying her good money. She still needed to be respected, he was of noble standing sure, but he didn't want to be like those other stuck up kids.
His gaze would fall back on the paper infront of him before gesturing with his left hand for her to continue talking. A Ducati Diavel motorcycle would speed past them and stop by a corner as their car, a Tesla X, would turn slowly at the corner the rider stopped at. Once they pass by the rider and his motorcycle, the rider would again follow the Tesla before overtaking the car and heading ahead in the busy streets of london. Yes, the rider was an acting escort if people would pay close attention to it. It was one of the three bodyguards assigned to the young man of twenty-two years by his overbearing mother, the other bodyguard was the one driving the car, sitting infront of him in the driver's seat, and the last one, the one he considers his mentor and father figure, the well renowned Hermann Ziegler would be sitting across him in the backseat of the electronic luxury car, wearing a light grey suit that made him look sharp and at the same time, hid all the kevlar he was wearing, along with the multitudes of weapons he was hiding in it.
Another flip of the page, the soft rustling being like therapy to his ears and the security of a friend with him had always put him at ease. Julius smiled gently as he basked in the feeling, knowing full well once he alights from his car and joins his mother in the other car that's used within company premises, that either he gets immediately bombarded with business related matters or reports about his foray in the field of Gunpla Battling and "Diving".
His friend would keep quiet during the duration of the ride, letting the secretary do all the talking, it wasn't for long however as they turned upon a corner with a large gate, and were within Slater Company premises. However when one uses the word premises, it is used lightly or in this case an understatement as the Slater company bought a section of the city to be turned into their own private territory. While residential and commercial buildings still existed within the 8 block radius, those that lived in the area were mostly part of the company, including security. One could consider it a village for the Slater group. One of the perks of working for a Viscount Candidate as their employees would put it. He would alight slowly and regally from their electric car, one their company opted to use for further appeal to the public and to spearhead the campaign for "Clean, Renewable Energy".
The thought crossing Julius' mind made him smirk, the slogan has been used and beaten far more than a dead horse and at this point in time, he already considers it an oxymoron instead. Julius would switch to a bigger car, a hunchback one, but before entering he would give his mother a polite bow befitting a european noble, before sitting beside her. Luckily for him however it seemed like she was preoccupied with other things and the short trip to the towering Slater building was a pleasant one, for the rest of the ride he would be on auto-pilot or acting on muscle memory, his head stuck in the clouds as he immediately wanted to go back to GBN.
It wasn't until they were in his office, that he had grasped hold of his consciousness. His bodyguards would pull both his and his mother's chair for them before they sat. His mother holding a stack of thick papers in front of him.
This is gonna be a long one isn't it? He thought as he adjusted the black tie he was using.

" Hermann, be a dear and fix us a cup of coffee please." Marina would instruct the bodyguard who would make a reverence bow and leave shortly afterwards heading to the running coffee machine at the lounge just outside Julius office. While this was his office the reality of the matter was that this building had been signed to her name. Her son might have been the next in line to inherit all of these properties and real state but it wasn't something that was just going to be handed to him on a silver platter.
She had been a harsh mother through the years but for a good reason. If Julius was to run Slater conglomerate he first needed to be cold and efficient but also be social in order to maintain the business relationships his parents had spent decades building. Now that Julius was in his early 20s it was the right time to find him a fiancée and of course not any girl would do. The girl she had chosen was none other than a certain Miss Sara Saionji- a 19 year old attractive gem whose family ran an international trade firm with global reach. Earlier that year Sara had been present at a company sponsored Gunpla tournament that had taken place in England and she personally awarded the winner of that event the champion trophy. The two of them didn't have a whole lot in common but that never really stopped these type of arranged marriages.
Smiling she recognized that bored distant look in her own son eyes, no doubt thinking about battling online randoms or running free in GBN. The hunky bodyguard would return after a few minutes with two steaming mugs of coffee all tailored to their own individual taste. Marina's used three whole spoonfuls of creamer and six small spoons of sugar. Someone as bitter as she was got headaches if she attempted to drink black coffee.
" Finish all of these before noon i'll let you go home early, think you can do that for me?" The company was rather self sufficient since she had hired a group of expert to run this operation, she merely made Julius wake up early each day because he needed to familiarize himself with the way adults carried on their business and more importantly the schedules.

The cloudy skies of London, seemed to be foreboding as Julius stole a glance outside the large glass window in his office. If only he knew what his mother had in mind for him. As much as Julius cherished his mother and respected her because she was more of a parent more than his real father was, who treated him more like a treasure to be kept and then bragged about out on display for the people of europe, a part of him would still fear and dread his mother. He knew perhaps more than anyone else, how her go getter attitude and business acuity was more than just a public persona, it was actually on 24/7. The real question was when it wouldn't be on, because that was how rare of an occurence it was.
The Ivory-haired youth would lean back even further on the large leather chair that he was on. It was comfortable for him and it was an unconscious habit of his, whenever he was intimidated or forced to make a choice. It doesn't help that his literal emotional crutch went outside to fetch the mother and son coffee, even a few seconds of his absence was enough to for Julius to be anxious infront of his very own mother.
Why couldn't she send the other two instead? or my secretary? He thought listlessly.
Hermann would come back, holding two cup of coffees that was on wonderfully made saucers that matched the teacups. They were from India and they cost about millions not in dollars, but in euro and yet the suave bodyguard in grey would walk and balance both as if he had been a butler and not a soldier all his life. With Hermann coming back, so would the life and confidence of Julius, his posture would regain its confidence and class worthy of the Slater name and heir.
He'd give Hermann a slight nod as thanks for his coffee, the thought of promoting him to be butler entered his mind and almost made him chuckle as he put sugar cubes on his instead and a bit of creamer too. The taste for sweet coffee was one of the things he would inherit from his mother, while him using sugar cubes was more on him wanting to play with the sugar by dissolving it playfully with the spoon, as he did so he would once again look out the window, bored as he clamored for the surreal life and death battles GBN offered him. A soft exhale would be heard from the young heir.
After finishing stirring his coffee, Julius would absent-mindedly run the edge of his index and middle finger on the teacup's corners caressing it carefully as to not burn himself from the freshly made coffee. His mind would escape its reverie when he heard a phrase he would not expect his mother to say.
"Go home early..?" He said in a hushed tone, a mix of confusion, wonder and suspicion evident in his facial features and wording. Now, as much as his mother was strict and a real terror to boot, he thought her fair at least, this unexpected offer however had unwound him. Julius had never had an official half-day, not unless it were the holidays or some important event would go on, but on a normal day of all things? He found it odd.
"You're...awfully being considerate mother" he said carefully to her as he was still trying to wrap his mind on the offer and trying to find the right, acceptable words to say.

These last couple of weeks Marina had noticed certain signs on Julius demeanor which began to set a few alarms. She was quite an observant woman with an eye for details, she hadn't asked Hermann to leave them for a few brief moments for no reason, instead she wanted to observe closely how Julius demeanor began to crack when his primary caretaker left the room.
" Thank you." She would thank Hermann after being handed her own cup of coffee, setting it aside for now to let it cool off before taking a sip.
" You've been working so hard lately and haven't taken a vacation in the three years you've been working here. How about you go ahead and take a few weeks off? Maybe show up afterwards to only work during the weekends when there's less people around here." For as harsh of a mother she had been with Julius she knew there was only so much stress he could take, not to mention she was already planning on telling him about the girl she wanted as his fiancée and for him to take well those news he needed to be relaxed and well rested. That caring side of her personality in full display now since there was no need to keep appearances when it was only the three of them.

Out in the far corner of westminster an oddity would occur, the london tower or what the people of europe call endearingly the "Big Ben", was late in it's usual hourly toll. The bell would toll loudly as if a foreshadowing of things to come for the young heir, that now sat in the 50th floor of the Slater Tower, across his mother. Julius would face out the window as the bell rang, amused at the oddity that would perchance be off in a couple of decades or pehaps even a century.
His mother would give him a very believable reason to believe her and her motives. Julius would nod his head slowly and absent-mindedly at her offer. Julius kept quiet as to not question his mother further which may lead to her rescinding her offer. Maybe it was one of those days she was in a very good mood, or so he thought. He wouldn't reject a very gracious boon upon him by his mother, after all it was less time from work. More time for him to watch Gundam and play in GBN he had become popular in the past 4 months, and he needed to capitalize on that.
He would extend his hand thoughtfully as he reached the teacup infront of him and gently ran his fingertips on the lid of the cup, he was very enthusiastic, but one of the lessons he learned personally from his mother was not to be easily read by another business minded person, otherwise he would get caught up in their pace. Trying to keep his face stoic, he narrowed his eyes focusing on the coffee instead. He needed to feign dignity, even if inside his head, he was raring to go home and start the machine right away.
Once, twice, thrice, four times and then it went on and on, his fingertips endlessly going in loops as it caressed the lid again and again in what seemed like maddening determination. Julius would look at his mother, calm, composed and almost like a leader. It seemed like the time he spent caressing the cup was him building up his persona. There were no cracks with the mask he had worn as of the moment it was nigh impregnable most especially so that Hermann was in the room with him.
"Are you sure about this mother?" He would ask. "Will father not be mad? I know the both of us made a deal..." Julius voice would trail off as he would pull the teacup towards his lips, savoring the aroma of the coffee that seemed to embrace him and wake him up slowly the more he smelled it.
"Would he not consider me being remiss in my duties as Chief Executive, once he finds out that I'm focusing on my...other chosen endeavor?" His eyes would close as he slowly lifted the teacup to take a slow sip of coffee. Julius would let out a small smile after, enjoying the coffee slowly waking him up and the seemingly good news that came to him.

" You worry too much, dear." The blond dame in black would offer her son an apologetic smile, walking close to him to rub her dominant left hand to caress his cheek. It was only when they were in private she expressed her affection physically. That caring side of Marina's personality was in full display, those pink eyes reflecting the great pride she felt for her only son. Surely, she loved her daughter as well put there wasn't as much pressure on her shoulders.
" Your father already gave his approval, he's well aware of the sacrifices you have done in the name of this firm. We might be demanding but we will never work you to your breaking point, my beloved Julius." Julius father was on a long trip to Asia and Oceania so he wasn't coming back to England until the very end of the year. Marina was confident she could keep the operation running, this was not exactly the first time she had done so. After making it all the more clearer she would once more softly caress his cheek with the back of her silky hand before giving him some more personal space as she moved towards the warm cup of coffee she'd left there mere moments ago.
" Your grandfather was such an asshole. He made me work at one of his friends Hotel's back at Lienz since I was eleven until I left the house after getting together with your dad." Marina had been a young mother when she gave birth to Julius and while she was a woman of the upper class, her father was a deeply conservative man that did not believe women had any place running a business.

And just like that everything that made him tense suddenly just disappeared into the wind. Julius felt like he was back in one of the many mansions the Falmouth Viscounty had somewhere in the forests of Europe, everytime he would be scared out of his wits that not even Hermann could calm him, it would be her duty--Marina's to calm him with her soothing voice or gentle motherly touch. Julius' head would slowly move downwards as he closed his eyes, feeling for himself the warmth and sincerity of his mother's feelings. He knew that this couldn't be trap or anything double-edged, because this was his 'kind mother' and she has never done anything that would betray this trust of his during this moments of silent reverie.
His shoulders would slowly ease up as he took a deep breath in silently, before opening his eyes and exhaling almost rhythmically. If her claims were true, then it is surely a done deal, he has never seen his mother fail in dealings. Julius would lift his left hand and touch her hand on his, like a lion tamed and caressed by a strong woman.
"Alright mother" he finally managed to speak. "I will do as you say" he said gently almost like a child in the innocence of his tone.
"I am happy to hear, that my contributions are indeed not only working but noted as well." he continued as he took another sip from his teacup whilst erstwhile holding the plate beneath it.
As his mother retracted her hands away from his cheek, Julius would lean back further on the backrest of his leather chair in a more relaxed but respectable position as he did so. The mere mention of his grandfather made Julius give out a wry smile as he once again looked out towards the cloudy city, memories flooding in. How Marina has countless of times shared many stories of anger and resentment against his grandfather, but even so she did not hide Julius from him, he remember meeting his grandfather a couple of times despite his mother's constant backtracking against her resentments towards him.
It was one of the things Julius subconsciously treasured, hearing his mother rant about her past just like any other normal person assured him that the one infront of him was his mother and not the business savvy and ruthless wife of the Slater conglomerate Head Executive.

At lunch time, Marina would approach Hermann instructing him there would be a guest arriving at their door later that week. The body guard was in the know that this girl was meant to be Julius fiancee and had been instructed to treat her just as any other member of their family, after all in a few years she was going to become the young heirs wife that was if the deal didn't fell through at the last minute. Julius would have more than a few days to relax and unwind before receiving these news.
The blond dame instructed their loyal guardian to take care of her son and ensure the two enjoyed themselves. Marina had only the best interest of Julius in mind but she was concerned that not even he would be happy to be given the chance to marry such a beautiful and influential young girl and that worried her a little.
" Young Master, what should I have the cooks prepare for dinner tonight?" Hermann would ask Julius as he drove their Tesla back to their mansion in the western side of London. He knew that Julius would go straight to his room to log on GBN and wouldn't want to be disturbed later.
The weather cleared up by the early afternoon. As much of a geek as Hermann was he appreciated sunny days since it meant he could do some spray painting outside today. In less than 20 minutes they had arrived back at the mansion along with the rest of their entourage. Hermann would open the door for his master and brief the other three men to go to their designated positions around the property. There was certainly a lot of ground to cover.

The hours simply flew by as the young heir enjoyed his work, something he rarely does. Not that he suddenly enjoyed work now--he still does not, but the gracious offer his mother left for him was like a carrot dangling from a stick and him chasing it, the very idea and notion that he gets to spend half day today and then take not just one but perhaps a week or month long holiday excited the young man. His eyes would go through the words in the documents like they were merely lines that he needed to look at, all the while understanding everything that they contained and relate to.
His hand would move every now and then in a quick scribbling yet gentle manner everytime there was a document that needed his signature for approval. He would let out a small smile as he worked, being heavily motivated by thought of playing GBN. He had surprised himself with what he had done in a couple of hours, and was almost thankful that his mother was not there to see it, otherwise once she saw him perform like he had just done, she may remove or reassign his secretary just so he would be expected to work everyday with the same efficiency and enthusiasm that he had done today.
It was a thought that scared him as he stood up, Hermann perhaps observing him knew what to do and opened the door of his office as they would now leave the building.
Good Riddance I say
It wasn't long until they were in the car and driving out of Slater Premises, When Hermann began to talk to Julius, asking him about what dinner he would like for the evening. A soft vulnerable smile escaped his lips like a child and he muttered almost softly and excitedly at the same time.
"I'd like some Steak thank you..." he said wistfully, today was very odd. It was too good to him and he knew it, and yet he couldn't help but enjoy the good things that came his way. He would loosen his tie as he spoke. "I'll be doing the usual routine in GBN"
When they arrived at the mansion and away from prying eyes, Julius would open the car door himself and almost hop out of it in excitement as he ran towards the mansion, leaving his back to Hermann. His trust of Hermann was immense in that much that he was vulnerable with him around, leaving himself open to anything because he knew and believed Hermann would take care of it.
"I'm gonna log in now!" He shouted excitedly as he ran past the guards waiting for Hermann's orders

11:15 AM London Airport, arrivals terminal England
Marten hadn’t been in the city long enough to have formed an opinion on London. The weather was perfectly fine by him and in his own experience nobody had actually bothered him on the streets but he’d often been told that his most remarkable trait was how he could go just about anywhere unnoticed. That being said he found the local food to be rather poor compared to what he had grown up with. Now he was at an airport waiting to pick up the young Miss Saionji from her plane
He’d arrived early even by his own standards having been told to wait at the airport at roughly the same time the young master and his mother had reached the family’s estate. The dark colored Ford Crown Victoria police spec was parked on the same floor of the garage as the entrance to the terminal he was to meet the young girl at, leaving the German with time to kill at the airport. Compounding on this was that her flight had been delayed and he had only been informed thirty minutes before her scheduled arrival.
In spite of his own feelings on this the youth appeared unpreturbed in his charcoal gray suit, white shirt and black tie. He stood near the exit with the name of the girl he had been sent to collect spelled out across a whiteboard, feeling a bit uncomfortable being the one being looked for. This was the first time he’d been sent to pick someone up from the airport. He shifted his weight from one foot from another and scanned the faces of the departing passengers, hoping to see the platinum blonde haired girl from the photo he had been shown back at the compound. This wasn’t his only assignment that day; Von Witzland had asked him to ‘pay her son a visit’ in GBN after she had learned that Marten himself had been in the running for the German championship at one point before he had joined the GSG9. In fact he was looking forward to the experience.

When Sara was called into her parents' office for an important meeting, she assumed it had something to do with their family business. The teen wasn't very happy with the role she'd been given, but at least she was a part of the company. But this meeting had very little to do with the business and was instead about her. She was surprised to learn who her parents had been talking to recently and was even more surprised when she learned what they'd been talking about: Apparently they had arranged for her to marry the heir to the Slater Conglomerate.
Sara was incensed to learn that her parents had been doing all of this behind her back as well as finding out what the apparently 'role' they'd always had in mind for her was. She immediately started arguing that she had no interested in having a marriage arranged for her, first claiming that she'd never even met Julius. But her parents were able to move that she was technically incorrect when they showed a picture of Sara presenting Julius with an award at a Gunpla Battle event their company had sponsored. No matter what she said or how angry she got, her parents would not relent.
The teen eventually gave in to her parents' "request" to fly to Europe to meet Julius and his family. In her mind, she was trying to tell herself to look at it as a vacation. And once she was home, she could continue where she'd left off until her parents would finally give up on this arranged marriage. So she packed her bags, making sure she would have more than enough clothing for her trip. And, as if the silver-haired girl wasn't already annoyed enough, her flight was delayed by 30 minutes before it finally took off.
Once the flight took off, it went smoothly enough that Sara was finally able to calm down a little bit. She couldn't help thinking about where she was going and wondering how this whole trip would go, curious about Julius' reaction to finding out about all of this. 'I guess I'll find out...' she thought to herself as she looked out the window, seeing London coming into view.
When the plane finally landed, Sara quickly gathered the bag and suitcase she'd brought onto the plane with her, knowing she would have to collect the rest of her suitcases. She disembarked from the plane and made her way into the arrival terminal, looking around for signs to where the baggage claim was as she walked. The teen had dressed nicely for her flight, wearing a dark skirt, dark-colored leggings, designer boots, and a light colored top that was covered by her jacket. She had her hair tied up in twintails, which was how she normally had it outside of work.

A week later ...
Marina's days went by in a blur since she was pretty much in charge of running the family operation. The woman was perfectly qualified to perform these executives task without breaking much of a sweat, the people her husband had hired to fill key positions remained on top of their game, all she had to do was supervise every department and be there on time everyday. The thought of having her son Julius relax put her mind at ease since he needed this sweet reverie. The two saw each other daily sitting at the same table for breakfast and dinner.
The evening prior to Sara's arrival Marina broke her silence at the dinner table, explaining to Julius they would be having a very special guest arrive soon. Marina wanted him to get to know this beautiful young lady better and even offered to extend his vacation even further so the two of them could spend more time together.
" A lot of young men would do unspeakable things to get the chance we are giving you. Your father expects you to go through with this, dear." Marina was certain her son would be reluctant about being engaged at first.
---
Hermann had spent that week close to his master seeing every need and whim of his was seen to. He also joined Julius in GBN adventures providing support in more ways than one in raids. the purple haired former soldier knew all about his incoming fiancée but he had been told to keep a lid on it. The man had briefed the rest of the bodyguards about her arrival, sending their newest member Marten to pick her up at the airport when she was set to arrive.

Seven days ago Marten was not impressed by the girl chosen as the young master’s eventual bride; seven days later he was still not impressed. His first impression was that of a spoiled young girl who had always been given her way, and worse off she was loud. At least that was the quiet man’s read. He had introduced himself in the formal matter but had generally been quiet for the car ride, answering her questions as best as he could be now really speaking of himself. In truth she reminded him of his youngest sister in her early years. His family had been well off back then.
His father had been a retired lieutenant colonel and his mother was a well known name in the German automotive industry so they had wanted for naught so it was only natural for him to have continued to family tradition of the oldest male son to enter the service of his country. A polovwman’s work was not the same as that of a soldier’s but his acceptance into the GSG9 had more than made his father proud. Of course his exact role in the organization was technically a state secret but his old man had been military so he knew how to keep one. The sequence of logical deduction by the rest of his kin in relation to his proximity to the incident related to Emilia’s death had been a factor in his leaving the force but in the end it was for his own good. He hadn’t been able to carry on as efficiently as before after having lost his sister and the feeling of one of his comrades bleeding out in his arms still haunted him at times. The life of a nearly anonymous bodyguard was hardly as glamorous as he had experienced but in truth it was easier. There was less weight on his shoulders and he valued the focus much more than he had anticipated.
Then there was Marina’s request. It was odd that she would have chosen him for their organization, in particular with his experience as a Gunpla battler having apparently been of some influence. While his experience had generally not been on par with the usual former soldiers he was working with he was the most seasoned gunpla builder and more importantly fighter. The fact she had instructed him to take on the mantle of some kind of adversary for the young master had felt odd, but he’d accepted it with an unspoken gratitude. He still participated in his own leisure time but now it had come with a caveat. Should Julius be truly serious about becoming a professional battler he was to temper the young man and get him accustomed to what it would be like at a truly professional level.
Six days later he had completed his work on a recreation of his own personal machine; a highly customized and particularly powerful Efreet, now recreated painstakingly in the 1:144 scale. In truth he was not fond of the scale. The amount of time that had gone into properly replacing the RG frame with parts made from a more durable resin had in fact taken him months before, to say nothing about the energy spent sanding them smooth to the point there was no problems from the choice of material. The metal parts and magnets scattered throughout the armor had been a feat to create and he had in fact been forced to rely on his family connections to get them done perfectly. All in all the machine had been an effort to complete, but it was a masterwork for the mixed grade design that it actually was. The stamped metal swords replacing the traditional plastic weapons were something he was especially proud of. Painting those had been no mean feat and the end result looked exquisite in even his humble opinion.
As soon as he was finished with the build he reached for his phone, a rugged formerly military spec phone he was oddly attached to in the age of smart devices, and sent Marina a text to her personal number as instructed. She was certainly eating dinner with her son right now but these had been her orders to him personally. Along with a photograph of the machine and it’s entire spread of weapons he had included a short text message. “It’s done. Are you sure you do not want me to hold back?” it had read.
He was not one to second guess his instructions but he was somewhat hesitant to give his young charge the brunt of his aggression. Even though his tactics had been called simple minded in the past they were generally overwhelming and enough to break through more than a few experienced battlers before. While he had faith in Julius the idea of going full force against him sat a little strangely in his stomach.

It was a small relief for Sara when she finally managed to find the baggage claim, approaching it and waiting somewhat impatiently for her bags. Considering how the flight had gone overall, she wouldn't have been surprised if her bags never showed up. But luck seemed to be on her side now as, once the conveyor belt started, she soon saw her suitcases. Perhaps not surprisingly, Sara had quite a few suitcases to pull off the belt before the rest of the other passengers could see their bags. She had enough that an attendant quickly brought over a trolley once he saw how much she had and began helping load all of them onto it. "Thank you," she said before she left the area.
She hadn't been pushing her luggage-filled trolley for too long before she spotted a man in a suit holding a sign with her name on it. 'That answers that question,' she thought to herself as she walked toward him, wondering if he would know who she was. "I'm Sara Saionji," she said, introducing herself to Marten. The dark-skinned girl followed him out to his car, standing to the side as he began loading her luggage into it. It was almost like she was waiting to have to make some comment, but he was careful with her suitcases as he got all of them into the trunk. Once he'd finished, she followed him to the side of the car and got in once he'd opened the door for her, preparing herself for the rest of her 'vacation'.
"Is it always so... dreary here?" Was the first question Sara asked the guard once he started driving away from the airport, and he gave a quick, concise answer. There was silence for a while as she looked out the window at the passing buildings and scenery, thinking more about the meaning of this trip. She was still annoyed with her parents for doing something like this without her knowledge. And it didn't help thinking that this was always the 'role' they'd had in mind for her. That's how the rest of the drive went: Sara would ask a question about the area or about her hosts, Marten would give a quick answer without wasting many words, and the silence would return. She was still a little curious about Julius and his family, not having any idea that she actually knew about their future marriage before he did.
Her eyes got a little bigger when they pulled up to the mansion and Marten told her they'd arrived. Even compared to her own home, this was fairly impressive. The silver-haired girl once again waited for the guard to come around and open her door before she got out, still looking up at the building. During the last silence, she had reminded herself of the 'role' she needed to play while she was hear. "Thank you very much for driving me here," she said to him with a nod before looking back at the mansion. It was impossible to not feel a little nervous as she stood there. 'Alright... everything will be fine,' she thought before she began to approach the front door.
