| . Technically the only non-soldier hired by the Slater Conglomerate as a bodyguard. Marten’s family has a long military history and is seeped in the history of Germany; his family tree being traceable through the crusades, the 16 th century peasant wars and even more recent armed conflicts. Marten was born into a steadily middle class family in the city of Cologne and grew up in a healthy household, eventually becoming a protective big brother for his two sisters and his younger brother. At the age of eighteen his protective nature and want to help people lead him to joining the local police academy and doing quite well there. At age 24 he had been selected for training into the GSG9, Germany‘s counter terrorist unit which was the proudest day in his life. Even though the training process has been grueling he was able to pass the training and spent the next two years in what had been his dream job as a field officer and combat medic for one of the most elite police divisions in the world. This came to an end when an armed terrorist group took control of multiple buildings on the University of Cologne campus where two of his siblings were studying. Even though the orders had been per and carried out by the book and executed perfectly the plan went south and one of Marten’s team was fatally shot through the leg and one of his sisters was among the hostages executed. Six months later he had resigned from the police and had found himself in the bodyguard line of work risking his life for money. He has worked for the Slater Conglomerate for nearly half a year at this point and has developed a reputation for his apparently quite professionalism. In addition to his role as a bodyguard he was quietly scouted out by Marina Von Witzland to help provide her son and the heir to the Slater Conglomerate a direct challenge and bring home the lessons of having a rival or direct competitor. To this end Marten has found himself as not only a bodyguard but also as a direct rival and antagonist to Julius. To this end he is now fantastically well supplied as a gunpla battler. He has been a gunpla fan and has enjoyed the Gundam franchise for as long as he can remember. He fell in love with the bulky but smooth lines of Zeon style mobile suits and came to like the old monoeye suits over everything else and tries his best to keep to them exclusively. Outside of build divers he dresses however he needs to in order to follow the grey man theory and blind in to whatever situation he finds himself in. He had a preference for charcoal suits and black ties whenever he is not having to blend covertly. Inside of GBN he dresses far differently but his outfit varies depending on whatever locale he is in, often being a variant of acclimatized Zeon or Zanscare uniform. He has a dedicated out for whenever he is involved in a battle or large scale event; however, a two tone grey Char’s Neo Zeon pilot suit with a field blue left shoulder pad which he wears with a dark grey face mask like Chronicle Asher’s. |

| A modified RE 1/100 Efreet over a modern 1/100 MG Zaku frame to preserve the original design and promote maneuvering. Actual changes to the exterior of the machine have been kept minimal to help with ease of replacement. Each armor plate has been reinforced with a layer of metal sheeting under each part which has helped increase durability without sacrificing performance and weight for the sake of maximizing Marten’s direct approach. Two versions exist based off either the modern 1/100 MG Zaku or a 1/144 RG Char’s Zaku depending on scale needed. |
