30th of April UC 112 City of Granada Anaheim electronics representative Miss Patricia Hanley had been hard at work for a few hours bringing a dozen or so mobile suits to an storage house located in the outskirts of Granada. "Wespe" had paid in advance for Six Gustav Karls fully armed with long beam rifles and beam smart guns, Two MP Nu Gundams, two Rezels, a Hyaku Shiki Kai with a full armor component and one very special Zeta II. This hefty order was to be given to none other than Doctor Natasha Baneth in person and loaded into her ship the Pavlona who had just returned from an excursion to Mars. Natasha's backer at Buch concern weren't at all concerned on her double crossing the Martians to help her friend Von Witzland. In reality nobody had to know their groups were connected so there was no harm done in that regard. In fact they were quite glad the threat of the railgun had been thwarted since it meant the EF forces were now bound for Mars in full scale which allowed them to operate with a greater degree of freedom.

Natasha couldn't help but grin ear to ear at the supplies she was given, it made her feel that all the nonsense with Mars had been worth it after all. Even the maintenance crew wouldn't be able to complain about the mess in the cargo bay with this sort of haul. "I will have to thank Marina for this properly." she reminded herself. She wasn't too keen on the likeliness of having to go back, but she had a good idea of how to make use of the time.

Miss Hanley had changed those grease stained cover all for Anaheim's female Teal colored suit in order to greet Natasha in person.
" I have included plenty of spare parts courtesy of the house. How was your trip to Mars by the way? I am curious to hear your opinion on the prototype Gundam."

"Ah, Miss Hanley." she addressed with her large smile, "I hope all your endeavors are proceeding well. I owe you very much for all this." she said waving a hand at her ship. "For a business trip it went rather well. The Gundam performed spectacularly, I feel I can only now truly control it. The energy consumption and other issues though we are still working on."

" I figured a pilot with your qualifications would have no issue mastering our RXF-91. The data you have collected will be very important for our next project." It was going to be at least a decade until miniature mobile suits fully mature and become the new military standard. The Federation was willing to do away with their current fleet of specialized high performance machines once they got too long in the tooth to maintain at an adequate cost. Miniature suits could be made cheaper but obviously would be light skinned in comparison.
Anaheim executives were more than willing to submit their own proposals since SRNI project was lagging somewhat behind.
" When I took the order from Wespe I thought she would want some Jegan's but these you got here are top shelve models. Things are going to get wild around these parts before you know it! I've heard rumors there is separatist activity in side 4." Of course Patricia had been the one who sold them 30 something late version Hizacks complete with sharp shooter rifles.

"Mastering is a strong word I think, but thank you." she said. "Yes, there is no complaining for us with this sort of hardware. I am sure we'll get to make use of them soon enough." With the railgun out of commission the Federation would be moving forward. So far as Natasha was concerned her part was likely done at this point, however she would be hard-pressed not to accept a request for help in this situation. "And are your endeavors faring?"

" I am glad you asked. We have some bothersome flies on our own to deal with. There's this I want to say third party group that has been raiding our weapon shipments meant for the Federation- They call themselves the son's of Hecate and operate out of a heavily modified Zanzibar II. We have already informed the federation but they got their hands full with this Martian crisis going on. I can assure you this pesky group is operating within the Earth Sphere so there won't be any need for you to get on any long hauls if you decide to help us put them down. Naturally we'll pay premium for your services." Patricia did not hesitate to share information and more importantly offer a tempting sum of money, knowing she could trust the Blue Borsoi group.

"I suppose they think it is more your problem than theirs. Rather lazy on their part if so, Mars or not." Natasha smiled and grabbed Patricia by the shoulder. "Say no more! We will take care of it. You give me no reason to refuse you, Miss Hanley." she assured. "Have the information sent to my ship and we will begin planning as soon as we are collected."

" Thanks. I knew we could count on you." Patricia always made an effort to make hard to refuse offers. Woman had practically made a career out of convincing these rough around the edges former military types. This time the Blue Borsoi's would receive their payment up front and in full. ---- A few hours later at the Pavlona's hangar ... Akemi Sahashi had just returned after taking a couple of days off to visit her family back at Granada. She wasn't expecting to find that most of the mobile suits had been replaced by mint condition newer models commonly seen in use by the Federation. The green haired girl wondered which one of all of these new models would be given to her since her Geara Doga was nowhere to be seen.

With their new hardware aboard and locked down Natasha had snuck off for a few hours to have a drink. Upon returning she had gone straight to the Silhouette Gundam to she if she could brainstorm any ideas for how to improve its energy consumption. Natasha was fully aware of her limited knowledge regarding the math and balancing of such things, but sometimes even an uneducated thought could bring about new ideas. She was dressed down for a change, wearing the group fatigues rather than her usual business attire, and mumbling to herself as she looked over the machine's specifications.
"Hm. Maybe we can do something with the shield generator itself." she thought. "Oh? I see, that is an interesting feature." Natasha said with a chuckle. After poking around at the computer a moment more with a smile she climbed out of the Silhouette's cockpit. On the way down the lift Natasha could see Akemi wander in. She made her way over to the young lady.
"Akemi. You are back. Everything went well for you I hope."

" Good day, commander." Akemi would politely greet Natasha, noticing her climbing out of the Gundam cockpit.
" Has the Federation taken over our hangar now?" She would ask half jokingly. It was the first time in her life Akemi had laid eyes to these mobile suits from up close.
" This must be what the insides of a Feddie flagship look like ... "

"Well this is an Alexandria." Natasha said with a laugh. "Which do you prefer? It will be a while for us to train with them and paint them, so you better be comfortable with it."

Akemi didn't know what to make out of that question at first. " That is one very good question. From what I can tell by looks alone the Zeta II is basically a Rezel with less armaments. I wonder if its performance is any different. On the other hand there is the Hyaku Shiki..." After being strapped on a Geara Doga for so long either of those was a major upgrade.
The green haired girl would turn to face each machine, staring at them deeply before going over to the next one.
" I'll take the Zeta II." She would finally decide thinking it was unlikely Natasha decided to pick it for herself.

"Very good, I had a feeling you would. See the chief mechanic when you can for the manual." Natasha said as she made a couple notes. "I was about to take a short break. How was your time off?" she asked.

" Fairly eventful, spent most of it with the family." Akemi openly explained she stuck around her father, his girlfriend and her younger brother She didn't really have a problem accepting that her father was dating another woman, after all her mother had been locked up for nearly 20 years
