| Destiny Gilliam, the first born daughter of Rhys Gilliam, and the eldest of his children. Long thought by many to be the next in line for his position leading the Jupiter Fleet. This however changed when her ships were attacked during a helium run. It is presumed that Destiny Gilliam was killed while her ship covered the helium transports she was escorting. Her bravery in protecting the fleet, ignoring her status and doing her duty as a skilled pilot and commander, would inspire many, and would also cause much sadness across the fleet among those who knew her and knew of her. While she was for a while, an only child to a wealthy family, she was never spoiled. She took her role as her father's daughter seriously and spent a lot of time studying and bettering herself. She was the ideal child which caused no real issues until Citrio's transformation. It was then that their father would start telling Citrio he should behave more like Destiny before going about disowning him. This caused a rift between her and Citrio. She did however remain close to Misha who had come to idolize her big sister over the years and who Destiny loved dearly. Destiny also had good relations with Auria, who, after Destiny's presumed death and Citrio's disownment and disinheritance, would become the next in line to take over their father's position in the fleet. The oldest of the Gilliam siblings, she grew up seeing various conflicts play out in space. She spent the vast majority of her life in space and as such she came to sympathize with those who made it their home, especially towards the ideals of Zeon Deikun once she had discovered that she herself was a Newtype. While she wouldn't quite agree with the radical actions of Char, she does believe that more people should move to space and allow the Earth to heal. She also believes that Spacenoids should be able to self-govern themselves. As the eldest of the siblings, she had significant wealth and holdings, most of which were tied to the Jupiter Fleet and the Federation. Due to her beliefs, she would frequently deliver Helium to Mars Zeon when she could, however, that came to an end with the Federation's blockade. She wished to continue aiding Mars Zeon and helping out the spacenoids, but she knew that doing so could cause trouble for the Fleet and for her family if she were discovered. As such she devised a plan, creating a will and leaving everything to Misha who idolized her. She went with a plan to fake her own death, staging a false flag attack on her own ship with a ship and mobile suits she obtained through back channels. She utterly destroyed her old ship, leaving behind her mobile suit which she detonated the reactor on. With her death faked and her connection to her past life severed aside from those she trusted with her secret, Misha and her crew. Those who stayed with her aboard her new ship joined her in becoming a pirate crew, targetting Federation ships and shipments to and from them. They would then sell their haul to anti-federation or pro-zeon groups or Mars Zeon themselves, that or they would keep their spoils to upgrade their own suits. This new crew is called Hecate's Children, with Destiny herself going by the codename Hecate. Her ship is a Zanzibar II with a hanger expansion which has been painted black and emblazoned with the name "Erebus". Her elite guard has been given the codenames of Hecate's children,Scylla, Aeëtes, Circe, Pasiphaë, and Empusa, while the rest of her crew uses codenames of other famous residents of Greece's underworld |
