BIOGRAPHY |
Jake's father fought in the one year war as an infantryman in an armored reconnaissance unit. His mother a 19 year old immigrant from side 2 that made a living working at Zimmad's Grenada facility. His father survived the war, becoming an alcoholic that installed on his first born a sense of duty and discipline. Jack began working as soon as he turned ten at his uncle garage shop, not that his family needed the money but Jack's father didn't want his son to do nothing after he got home from school, as such Jack began at a young age to deal with a lot of adults which made him feel detached of the rest of the kids of his age. As he grew Jack became much more street savvy and his interest in the opposite gender was plain to see. Since his father was a former soldier there was a sort of mystique about Zeonic military tradition so instead of coursing through high school he joined side 3 academy as a cadet only to get expelled after three months for attempting to seduce a female instructor on several occasions. At that time Jack was 18 and was contacted by a "recruiter" working for Axis Zeon. It wasn't unheard of to see Zeon remants recruit from side 3 usual pool of misfits and Jake welcomed the second chance at earning his wings. In a matter of weeks he was training in a Zaku II. He foguht in the late stages of the first Neo Zeon war. When Glemmy's rebellion started he remained loyal to Haman, preferring to serve a woman rather than someone making outlandish claims to be Gihren Zabi true heir, in fact Jake had always seen the Zabi's as a dictatorship that brought ruin to side 3 but it was much easier to support Mineva since she was what he considered a clean slate. Haman leadership also inspired more confidence. After Axis Zeon defeat he traveled to mars with the survivors of his unit. Instead of joining Char's rebellion in the UC 0090s he instead became a mercenary tackling security jobs for private freighter copanies hauling goods from the Colonies to Mars, his mobile suit being the old Zaku III that had accompanied him since his days as an ensign under Haman's banner. He would later join Mars independent forces, having already promoted to the rank of lieutenant first class. |
