Sypha is mostly timid and shy around everyone, except only for her step mother, Marina Von Witzland, who Sypha is very comfortable around. Sypha tends to limit her conversations and interactions with anyone that’s not her mother to the best of her abilities. Sypha takes much joy in piloting mobile suits, and she finds it very fun. Sypha loves ice cream, baths, and her mother very much.

A newtype bio weapon created in the final days of the first Neo Zeon War. Puru-16 was first of a new batch of clones, unfortunately the facility was captured by EFSF commandos with most of the research facilities and subjects confiscated and sent to the Augusta institute where she would spend the next 20 years in a cryogenic chamber.
Years later, when Augusta's facilities were acquired by the Galileo institute she was discovered by Lucia Cordova who farmed her genetic information for a project of her own. Eventually, Lucia was able to discover her test subject true nature after Puru's 16 awakening. After conducting a series of experiments, Lucia handed the girl over to her aunt Marina Von Witzland who became Puru's 16 foster mother, taking care of educating the parent less Newtype clone.
