Ternov is more straightforward and less restrained than his older brother. He is gruff and prone to idle and undisciplined behavior when he can get away with it. If his more lax behaviors are out of the question for whatever reason he is surprisingly the model soldier, most of the time.
When things become difficult a more serious side of him comes out and he will be the first to tell others to 'shut up and cope' even while he will internally complain the whole time.
He does not enjoy toying with people or engaging in social games, preferring to get straight to the point and ending things as expediently as possible. This has left him coming off as blunt and gruff as he looks, which is useful for hiding a more thoughtful side that does not see much use as he honestly doesn't like to dwell on deeper things like the meaning of life or the morality of war; even though he has his own thoughts on the matter which mainly come out when he has indulged in his own personal vices.
With the apparent death of his older brother some years ago he has had the burden of the family legacy thrust on his shoulders he has been hit with a kind of identity crisis and struggles to act in the example of his forebares. |

| BIOGRAPHY |

The second eldest of the Ral children and constantly at his brother's back whenever they ran the risk of getting in trouble. Ironically enough it was often Tenrov's fault when the pair actually wound up in it. Tenrov joined the military academy at a young age and while he made respectable marks he constantly lagged behind his older brother, which was not surprising. He earned boot chevrons twice in his time at the academy which was no small feat but nothing compared to his older brother who somehow managed to hold onto his all the way through basic and advanced training.
Instead of always playing second best to his older sibling Tenrov eventually came into his own when his aptitude for mechanics was discovered mostly by accident when he became involved in mobile suit maintanence after an accident on his first assignment created a serious shortage of able bodied staff, leaving him and most of the crew to perform double duties.
The only true tragedy in his life came some time into his career with the supposed death of his elder brother, Marten. After this incedent he found himself to be held to the same standards of his older brother, which he thoroughly resents. |
