Follow up to Witchy Woman
Due to the close proximity of the two mobile suits the EXAM system keeping Sheena's soul bound to Ryoko's machine had still not forced her soul back. Had the Kikeroga been farther then their mind link wouldn't have been possible. With the deeper insight she now had gained form her exposure to Sigstein and Sheena's memory she no longer saw the teenager as an enemy.
" Sheena, i'll set you free!" the green haired woman made her decision to help in any ways possible let Sheena's soul find peace even if it meant going against her orders.
The GM support type dropped it's gun, reacting to Ryoko's commands which brought it to slam it's bailed first against it's head the reinforced fingers digging into it's own fuselage to crush the EXAM control unit which she thought would set her soul free at last.
" Boy, we have no reason to fight any longer. Get out of here ... " She'd seen in his mind that he held an attachment to the leader of their small remnant group so it was unlikely he would take her advise at face value.

Sig breathed out finding himself back in his cockpit, his vision fixated on the GM Support type as it ripped into it's own fuselage. His chest rose and fell, his cheeks red, and steamy breath came from his mouth. Even as she destroyed the EXAM system Sig could still feel Ryoko's presence. A pressure comming from her, he still felt connected in a way after their newtype connection. It seemed that she had been an unawakened newtype, and that EXAM had awakened her. He adjusted himself in his cockpit, though he noticed something. That feeling from Sheena... it didnt go away either... it simply shifted. He glanced bck towards the city, she was somewhere there... He looked back to Ryoko wondering if perhaps that was Sheena's soul escaping? He couldn't tell but he did look back to her."Wait I... there is so much..." he said trying to reach out to her again. But then, aggression, he felt hostile intent and looked up quickly stepping backwards out of instinct. A beam shot nearly hit him as it impacted on the lunar surface.
"I came as soon as I could!" Ronan said over comms as he aimed once more at Sig. Sig would kick off backwards applying his thruster to get out of there. Ronan landed near Ryoko and aimed up at Sig. Sig himself had a shot at Ronan, but wouldnt take it as he began to take evasive maneuvers, eventually ducking over the lip of the crater and out of view."Looks like he hit you pretty bad." Ronan commented glancing over to her.

Sheena soon found herself back in the GM Cannon III along with Ryoko, once again looking toward the Kikeroga. But despite the distance once again between them, she could still feel Sig's presence close to her. She heard what Ryoko said, surprised when the mobile suit dropped it's weapon.
"Ryoko, how-" she started to ask, but watched the pilot force the mobile suit to slam its fist into its own head before digging its fingers in. "I-" she started to say, but as soon as the EXAM control unit in the GM Support type was destroyed, it was like a flash and suddenly she was silent.
It was only a split second, but whatever had happened left Sheena feeling noticeably drained. "What..." she muttered, trying to make sense of what had happened. "Am I..." she started to ask, wondering if Ryoko had actually managed to free her. She could still feel their presences, but they were both quite a bit further away now. She tried to move toward them, but it was like she was trapped in place. "No... no, this isn't right..." she muttered to herself, trying to look around and figure out where she was.

" Ronan let it go, it's just a boy!" The GM Support type belonging to Ryoko would catch up to her partner, grabbing onto it's arm wielding the beam rifle. " This whole thing reeks. Listen I have to tell you something important: Sheena's soul was bound to this machine, I swear it's her!" The Captain was clearly heavily stressed out, crying as she plead her long time partner to stop shooting.
" H-he didn't do this, I did." She explained that the damage done to the head was self inflicted as a method to free their long time deceased friend soul.

Ronan paused as Ryoko blocked him from being able to accurately fire, however his hot temper quickly cooled to confusion as she explained to him what had happened and who was involved. Sig managed to disappear for now, out of his range of fire."What?! But... But Sheena is dead!" he shook his head."But why did you do it? How do you know that is a kid?" Ronan turned to her, concern in his voice."Is she no longer here?" he questioned, his thoughts were a massive jumble of confusion and adrenaline.

"So this is it?" a voice questioned."Yes of course! This is the EXAM system!" a second voice, one which Sheena would find all to familiar would say."It will give me the abilities of a new type?" the first voice questioned again."Yes yes! It relies on the use of a natural new type connected to the system. The one for this... welll... they are secure. But you will have the abilities of a newtype... and some other things... myess... " the second familiar voice said. The second voice was that of Cäsar Matthäus who stood next to a crate which contained an exam system. The first voice was of Ekkehard Rosengarten whom stood opposed to him with crossed arms and a serious look. They were in a warehouse more or less, and the Doc was here to sell this exam system.

Sheena could hear a voice speaking, asking a question. The way it seemed muffled, she thought she could leave whatever this container was she was in and see who it was and just where she was. But her entire figure froze as soon as she heard the second voice, her eyes getting huge. No matter how shattered her memories were, no matter how dull they were, that was a voice she could never forget. She knew exactly who the other side of that conversation was from the first word he spoke. She remained completely still before eventually she sunk back, pushing into the corner of the crate that left her the furthest she could possibly be from Him. 'No.... no no no no...' she thought.

" We have to go back and stop that rampaging newtype girl before she levels Granada to the ground. This GM is done for, i'll go hop back in my Command real quick. I'll come up with a bullshit excuse to get them to call off the attack, whatever the hell that takes!" Truth to be told Ryoko wasn't even sure what she was doing was a smart move, merely going by what she considered to be right. With the GM support type III main sensors failing taking this suit into battle could potentially get herself killed.
She'd already seen how unstable cyber newtypes turned out, if there were anymore Zeon remnants in Granada Fatima would have no qualms killing hundreds of people. " We're going against a fucking Gundam for once." On a normal day she wouldn't suggest committing treason so casually yet she knew she could trust Ronan to back her up.

"Will you be able to install in on newtype use mobile suits?" Rosengarten asked before gesturing behind himself. There was a MS-09R4 Psycommu Rick Dom and a AMX-001 Prototype Qubeley."Well... yes... perhaps some tinkering will be required... but... well I should be able to do it. Ther is just a problem, I only have the one exam you see?" Cäsar said patting the crate."A shame. Regardless..." he would say before looking over to Ayami whom he had brought along."Which of these do you like the most?" he seemingly asked a raised eyebrow at random.

"Stop her? How! Isn't she fighting some Zeek? I dont know what happened between you and that kid, but we can't just let Zeon get away." Ronan said before kicking off from the ground, and hitting thrusters."I'm moving in... I'll leave the kid alone, but I wont hesitate to... nevermind." he shook his head knowing that Ryoko had a good reason. He would go to stop Fatima, try and talk her down, but if he saw that rick dom he was joining in.

Sheena swallowed hard as she remained in the corner of the crate, her eyes still big just from the sound of Casar's voice. She could hear the two voices as the spoke, the doctor's finally saying that it was another EXAM system in this crate. 'Another one...' she thought, remembering how she had felt for only a few moments when Ryoko tried to free her. It only made her feel even worse now. She glanced around from within the crate, noticing a newtype that was close.

While Rosengarten was talking with the doctor, Ayami had stayed close to him. She'd been beside him, but had eventually found herself almost slightly behind him as well. She'd never met this man he was speaking to before, but there was something about him that was just... unsettling. She looked at the man when he turned his attention to her, turning to look toward the two different mobile suits. She was quiet as she looked back and forth at the two of them, eventually deciding. "I like this one," she said as she raised a hand, pointing toward the AMX-001 Prototype Qubeley.

Warrant officer Tabitha Westland approached the doctor with urgent news. The blond girl was one of his "assistants" much like Fatima and even tough she was wearing the uniform of the Titans her unwavering loyalty remained with Casar. " That Captain Kihara destroyed the EXAM control unit in her GM." She would whisper to the man in the white lab coat, keeping her distance from the two distinguished guests in their presence. Her green eyes glanced over at the beautiful cyan haired girl. Much like Fatima, Tabitha was a powerful cyber newtype and Ayami only had to see in her eyes she was much alike that other girl with the piercing yellow eyes. |

Cäsar sighed closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose."I understand, lets get this to the buyer before anything else happens." he muttered quietly back. Rosengarten nodded stroking at his chin"A good choice, we will install the EXAM on the Dom then. In the meantime..." Rosengarten looked directly at Ayami then to Tabitha."I do not understand the function of the EXAM system, and I am sure Ayami here could use some help with the newtype system." he said looking to the Doc."Could you lend some technical support?" he asked crossing his arms."Ah! But of course. I will lend you the assistance of my fine assistant here. I will have my crew install EXAM onto the dom at once."

All Sheena could do was listen to the muffled conversation happening just outside of the box. As strange as it was, it felt like this was the only safest place for her to stay as the listened to that voice. She didn't care even try to move outside of the box, not even wanting to see him. She could 'see' two different newtypes about, but she had practically shut herself off now. She kept thinking, wishing she would have stopped Ryoko from destroying the EXAM system. Neither of them had any way of knowing, but she would have much rather been with her than here.

Ayami nodded a little after she made her choice, hearing the doctor Rosengarten was speaking with talk about installing an EXAM system in the mobile suit she hadn't picked, though she didn't really understand just what it did. She'd heard it being discussed, but she had no idea of how it would work. But it seemed that wasn't important enough for her to know. She glanced over at her guardian when he mentioned that she would likely need help. She remained close to the man's side, still feeling weary of Dr. Matthaus. "Thank you," she said with a polite bow, knowing she couldn't be rude.

It was quite easy for Tabitha to sniff out Sheena's presence, now residing within this main EXAM unit. While foolish that Ryoko woman's actions would be a major cause of grief for the doctors research. EXAM systems didn't simply grow from trees.
" Understood, dadd-- I-I mean Master." There was a bit of a silver lining since now it appeared she was going to get much closer to unknown yet curious buyer. Judging from the Dom alone she could figure out a Zeon connection of sorts. That cyan haired girl was quite the novelty as well.
" Suppose i'll have to find me a new change of clothes. I wouldn't want to have a bayonet shoved up my ass." She would playfully mention to the doctor.

"That is quiet alright my dear! You have a nearly blank check for getting what you need, so long as our colleagues here are satisfied." Dr. Matthaus would say though Rosengarten would pipe in quickly after."How soon will she be able to instruct me in the use of the exam system? I would also like it if she can give a rundown in the use of Psycommu to Ayami here. Being an oldtype, I have no experience in such matters." he asked, his arms crossed, an eyebrow raised as Tabitha nearly called the Doctor 'Daddy', which had some rather interesting implications."Yes of course of course, you can have her services immediately."the Doctor would say before looking to Ayami with a grin."Oh trust me my dear, it is a pleasure to render my assistance."

Ayami remained mostly quiet while Rosengarten spoke to Doctor Matthaus, seeming to work our the arrangements of their deal. She couldn't help still feeling somewhat nervous about the idea of actually piloting a mobile suit herself. When the two men started talking about Tabitha, the blue-haired girl looked toward the blonde who would apparently be teaching her how to pilot the mobile suit she'd picked out. Ayami was trying to ignore then uneasy feeling she'd had, wondering if maybe she was just nervous about everything that was going to be happening.
