February 6th UC112 Martian Colony "Lorreine" Lt. Commander Lorena Seydlitz had been given authorization to deploy on a long range reconnaissance patrol in search of the Ra Cailum class carrier "Edelweiss". In waverider form the Delta Kai was more than capable of performing infiltration deep within enemy territory, being accompanied by two RGM-86s on this assignment. The pair were operating far ahead of their host ship, the cruiser Hidalgo and has spotted a colony which she decided to investigate since it was possible the Edelweiss had chosen to hide in that place. Martian Zeon forces patrolled that sector sparsely which meant there was indeed a gap in their defenses, at least this far from the planet itself. It was certainly worth the risk to get inside and take a look around. According to their charts the colony was used mostly as farming space which was fully automatized with a few hundred people at most. Things were relatively quiet though she did not ignore the presence of a couple Musaka class cruisers that would occasionally show up but continue on along their route. Sneakily the Delta Kai set course for the cylinder, keeping its propulsion steady but quietly as it maneuvered towards the docks from where they could access the interior. " Complete radio silence thus far. We might have a window of 40 minutes before those ships show up again." The Delta transformed into it's mobile suit configuration, holding it's 180mm launcher with one hand while the left one reached out to open the hatch. An airlock compartment later and they were inside gazing at a rocky valley beyond the port area. ( The area of operations: map notes: From A-1 to A-5 and D-1 to D-5 that's an elevated position overlooking the center valley. Rock boulders scattered across the map provide cover only if mobile suit gets on it's knees.)

During their routine patrol of the this colony sector, the Musaka class cruiser "Potsdam" had dropped off an assemblage of engineers and mechanics to perform routine maintenance and updates on the farming machinery. They were escorted by a lone element test pilot. He currently had no rank, the only code name he went by was "Fox". He was still relatively unknown among the Potsdam crew and personnel. From what limited Intel the Potsdam crew knew about him, he was a privately contracted pilot to test the waters on new Mobile Suit technology that had to be field tested before being officially commissioned. The engineers began their routine tasks on the agricultural machines promptly, they needed to complete their assignments before the Potsdam came about on the return from it's scheduled route. One of the engineers managing the systems noticed an anomaly on the colony structure, a warning indication of atmospheric disturbance.
"Fox, do you read me?" The engineer frantically inputting commands on the computer module.
"I'm here, what's the situation?" Fox responded with a calmly crisp grunt. He was seated in the dimly lit darkness of the AMX-107R's "Rebawoo" cockpit. The machine was custom painted in matte gunmetal gray and jet black. It bore no insignia or markings, other than the serial codes engraved on parts to determine their manufacturing specifications. The information sent by the engineer promptly showed up on his own screens.
"Systems indicate one of the colony's exterior hatches has been unlatched. Showing atmospheric pressure loss here." The engineer forwarded the location to him.
"I'm on it." Fox affirmed by revving up the machine and begin accelerated movement to close in on the location. Fox is well aware that this breach could be Federation forces trying to establish a collection of statistics on colony defenses. "They might want this colony for themselves, after all, it is a agricultural resource." He thought. Then again, it was just his own personal judgement, in reality he didn't know why they would want to infiltrate this colony in particular. Taking all dangers and caution into consideration, he made sure to keep his senses on peak. The machine's Beam Rifle held at an elevated position to minimize the process of taking aim and firing at a moment's notice, and the Shield held in the opposite mechanical arm concealing most of front torso. Taking prior combat knowledge into affect, he is risking no chance going into this investigation with his guard down.
"Establish contact with Potsdam before they get out of signal range, inform them of possible hostile breach." Fox ordered the engineer with authority.
"Uh, alright, Roger that." The engineer replied anxiously. He didn't think a simple routine maintenance call could possibly turn out to be a full blown battle. Then he thought about how commanding and confident Fox seemed, questioning the origins of the test pilot, but for now, he had to radio in the Musai cruiser Potsdam and inform them of this situation. The engineer nervously whispered to himself with sweat beginning to precipitate on his forehead. "Oh dear, I hope he's just being paranoid and this is all just a system malfunction."

Two RGM-86s armed with 90mm machineguns made their way inside the colony under the watchful eyes of Lt. Commander Seydlitz. The Federation indeed wanted this colony as intact as they could get it in order to use it as an staging area for later operations into Martian territory. The mobile suits were painted in two tone gray- a newer low visibility color scheme favored by the space forces in recent years. To the naked eye it would prove difficult to deduce the exact model of mobile suit.
Each mobile suit spread out with one advancing through the boulders to C-9 while another took position at B-7 overlooking the road that lead to the hollow in the middle of the sector. Lorena's Delta Kai was armed with a 180mm piece loaded mostly with HE shells but she'd kept a couple of Armor piercing fin stabilized rounds in case they ran into harder targets. The Delta took position at A-7, wanting to cover their left flank.
---
The Potsdam radio operator immediately picked up the transmission, passing over the report to the vessel commander, a young lieutenant by the name of Hilda Ebert. While young she'd already gotten her first taste of battle at the beginning of the year, finding the new pilot suspicions to be well founded.
" Inform them we're sending reinforcements right away. ETA minus 20." She would tell the operator, not wanting to leave their engineers and their new pilot with their asses hanging out in the breeze in case they had an infiltration on their hands. There were currently two AMS-129 Geara Zulus in the Potsdam deck on standby. Both machines were loaded with 360mm bazookas but it would take them no less than 15 minutes to make it to the colony at full speed.

The engineer confirmed acknowledgement of the message received.
"They're sending reinforcements, ETA 20 minutes!"
"Good" Fox responded.
"What made you suggest it might be someone trying to breach the colony?" The engineer curiously asked Fox with a edgy stutter, still dreading the idea of hostilities occurring while they were still vulnerable.
"It's how colonies usually get invaded. It's standard procedure. Send in a unit of operatives to observe and detail the defenses." Fox was going to continue explaining the infiltration process to the untaught engineer, including how he used part of such infiltration units in the past, but felt like he had already enlightened him enough. The conversation ended there and simply let the engineer ponder.
Advancing North to location [G-1], he found a strategic spot near a active cluster of titan scale industrial Cultivators. The machines were almost the same height as the AMX-107R. As a precaution, he brought the mobile suit to a kneel to further blend in it's visual and thermal signature with the surrounding machines. The AMX Shield and Beam Rifle always maintaining their appropriate defensive positions at the ready.
"Recording visual imagery, transmit results to Potsdam. I need tactical feedback on what we're dealing with here. " Initiating the variety of visual and audio sensors, the long range scanners attempted to zero in on the Federation mobile suits, sending all data to the Potsdam via the engineers communication systems. Fox wanted to get Intel on the federation's machines and their weapon loadouts. Time in prison had made him ignorant of the advances in technology the federation had accomplished. His eyes instinctively kept a keen awareness of where the barrels end of their weapons faced, ready to respond with a evasive maneuver the moment he saw one of their barrels face his direction.
"Should I engage them.. or should I wait until reinforcements arrive.." It was quite the dilemma. Eventually it might come down to no choice at all, from what he observed, they were already headed in his direction. "There's the engineers to consider.. damn liabilities." He would also need to keep the engineers from becoming victims of collateral damage. They are valuable assets after all.
"Once the engagement starts, find cover underground until it's deemed safe. Tell the others the same thing." Fox informed the engineer with a weighty tone. The engineer accepted the advice and continued to relay the information to the Potsdam.

So far, the GM III vanguard seemed unaware there was a Martian mobile suit in the area. The leading element had picked up the heat signatures of the farming equipment , not noticing an increase in minovsky particle density. The GM III at C-9 would move forward to D-8, keeping it's weapon and shield at the ready.
Since there didn't appear to be any units guarding this colony, Lorena would break radio silence. " Mage-2 advance further south. Mage 3, move up to C-4 and maintain position, dig in and get ready to fire upon any new arrivals." She did not believe for one second this peace would last too long, eventually the Zeeks were going to send a patrol and she wanted to ambush them on their terms.
The Delta Kai maintained it's current position at A-7 behind a solid rock boulder. It was her duty to cover their exit in case anyone showed up on their rear that could spell their doom.
---
Meanwhile at the Potsdam...
Chief of Engineers Miss Jane Mason would enter the bridge of the light cruiser.
" Lieutenant commander, I would like to count on your permission to deploy the EF Efreet prototype. Matt and I have been waiting for an opportunity to test it in live combat conditions. I assure you it will arrive at the Colony way ahead of our Zulu's."
This bold claim earned her a certain skeptical look from Hilda.
" Are you certain about that? I won't be held responsible if the protype goes up in flames." Hilda was not entirely against deploying the RF Efreet.
" We are aware of the risk. Leave the burden of responsibility to us, ma'am." With these words, Jane got approval to launch the protype. Briefly the order would de relayed to the catapult crew who began preparations to launch the RF Efreet.

It didn’t take long for the man that designed the RF Efreet to get the message that his prototype was to launch and assist with the defense of a colony. Under normal circumstances he would be really excited right now. He was going to field test the prototype suit in a combat scenario to show the brass that he had made a good mobile suit. However this situation wasn’t ideal; the number and armament of the enemy was unknown, it was happening inside a colony so there were civilians at risk, not to mention that the food produced here was need to feel the population of Mars. Having this colony captured or destroyed would cause trouble back on Mars that they really couldn’t afford. So no, this wasn’t an ideal circumstance to do a field test of the RF Efreet.
So as Matt climbed into the cockpit of the Efreet he was a bit more stoic then normal. As the hatch sealed and the spherical screens came to life as Matt flipped switches and activated toggles, the indigo mono eye of the Efreet lit up and glowed brightly. ”Matt Rogers here. All systems are green. RF Efreet is ready to launch.” He said as he doubled checked his helmet’s seal. It was good. ”Ms. Mason, be ready to receive the Efreet’s combat data. It will come in handy in identifying the enemy’s intentions.”
Soon the scaffolding around the black and green prototype folded back, and the Efreet took a couple of steps forwards to lock itself onto the catapult, it’s high mobility pack humming slightly as it warmed up. Not wanting to cause damage to the colony Matt had chosen to leave behind the beam bazooka, but the Gatling guns were attached to the shields since it was unlikely they would punch a hole in the colony, though this meant he had two fewer clips for the Blitzer Shotgun. A moment later the catapult’s status indicators lit up, and Matt braced himself against the back of his chair. ”Vanguard, launching!”
And just like that the black and green mobile suit was launched into space and Matt felt his pulse quicken as the thrill of flying through space in his own creation began to creep into his mind. As soon as the Efreet was clear of the Potsdam and there was no risk of the ship getting hit by the backwash of the mobile suit accelerating, Matt pushed down the middle pedal with his foot... and was pushed back into his seat as the Efreet took off like a missile heading towards the colony. Matt found himself smiling; the Efreet has accelerated over 5% faster then it should of done so, which meant it was surpassing its design parameters.
It didn’t take long for the Efreet to reach the colony, and the suit decelerated as the the thrusters in the chest fires, glowing a gentle blue. By the time the Efreet had slowed down it had reached the entrance hatch. Just like the Federation forces did on the opposite side of the colony, the Efreet turned the handle to open the doors and quickly stepped through, closing the doors behind it and emerging within the colony (K-1) As soon as the mobile suit was in Matt opened a secure channel to the AMX-107R. ”Fox, this is Vanguard. Ready to assist you in defense of the colony. What do we have?”

After a brief preliminary survey of the region, the 107R continued it's northern course [E-1] with long strides, preserving the propellant accelerator for the time being. He wanted to disperse the minimum amount of minovsky particle to retain the element of surprise for as long as he could. Finding a large rock formation in the shape of a large boulder, Fox found it suitable to provide visual cover. Roughly bringing the machine to a skid into the rugged terrain, it quickly dropped to a defensive kneel behind the boulder to provide him with some protection from incoming attacks originating from the East-North Eastern region. At that very moment an incoming communication broke through
Fox was curiously surprised with the rapid response time, it couldn't have been more than 10 minutes since they received the transmission detailing incoming reinforcements. Not taking for granted the well timed backup, he welcomed the favorable shift in odds.
"You're right on time." There was a momentary pause with static as minovsky density was beginning to accumulate in the region.
"Standby for incoming Intel" A diverse collection of field data that Fox had previously recorded was sent to the 08TX-RF via the same frequency, detailing the identifications of federation mobile suits, weapons and other miscellaneous Intel he was able to successfully register.
"Minovsky density is beg--" krrrrssshhhh "Unidentif -- suits --otted eastern region. I'll--" krrrrssshhhh "--eading North to--" krrrssshhhh "--eir escape."
The audio transmitters were beginning to hum with electromagnetic static by accumulation of M-Particle generated by the mobile suits in the local region. Fox wondered if Vanguard had received his last transmission detailing his current objective before static overwhelmed the channel. Taking a quick scan of the last known location the 08TX-RF's last transmission was sent from, Fox zoomed in on the mobile suit and came to the realization he was not familiar with the model. "That machine should help even the odds." The machine looked quite intimidating, simply appeasing to Fox's standards. With distances between both enemy forces closing in, the 107R's weapon systems began to fully activate, the grenade launcher was detached from the side skirt armor and mounted to the underside of the Beam Rifle.
There was one thing on the mobile suit's dashboard that Fox was still unfamiliar with, since he had only been briefly trained on the 107R before this colony assignment. His eyes kept looking over at a set of words with the primary one being Psycho-Frame that was currently deactivated. He was given little information about this feature but it was something he will have to look into if he survived this complication.
With a momentary pause in static, he spoke through to Vanguard "Lets-- kick these fed-- intruders out -- this colony.." His eyes focused with a glaring stare as purpose and clarity began to take control of his intentions.

The leading GM III had noticed a sudden increase in the local Minovsky particle density to the point it would interfere with their radios. The rear camera of the GM III began blipping, sending a message to the Delta Kai in Morse code. Lorena made the call to activate NITRO mode, informing her subordinates that she was going to deploy the funnels. The mobile sit would start to iradiate with blue flames which drastically increased the Delta Kai heat signature so much so it would be noticeable to everyone in the area. The two Fin funnels would be launched shortly after and each one would head to the location of the GM IIIs in order to support them once they made visual confirmation with the enemy. Both units began taking cover with the boulders, maintaining their positions and awaiting for the in Funnels to arrive or draw fire onto themselves. If they could be used as decoys their value wouldn't have been wasted. *GM IIIs holding position at D-8 and C-4. Finn Funnels at B-7 and B-8.) The area of operations:

Within the cockpit of the RF Efreet, Matt nodded. ”The reinforcements are still on their way, but the RF Efreet is much faster.” he responded as the black and green prototype began to match forwards. While the high mobility pack made the Efreet fast, right now was the time to keep low and simply join his comrade. There was however one major drawback to the high mobility pack: it absolutely loaded the surrounding with Minovsky particles, especially within an inclosed space like a colony. So as soon as he received the intel about there being a GM-III the intel and radio were getting reduced to static. With a shrugged he flicked a button for the mobile suit to record all data for later review since transmitting data through this without a laser would be hard. Still it would limit the enemies ability to communicate just as much as theirs.
Upholstering the Blitzer shotgun from the right skirt armor, Matt clicked a button on the controls that resided under his pinkie finger of his right controls, and without any external cues the Blitzer has rearranged its guts so it acted like a beam rifle instead of a shotgun. As this happened Matt flicked a button on the left control, and the rest of the Efreet’s weapons came online. Even as this happened the Efreet continued to run, entering sector J-2. What little he had gotten from Fox was that the enemy were to the North Eastern section of the colony, which meant they had to head there to reach them. With the 08TX-RF just arriving it was lagging behind the 107R and had to step up the pace. As a result it didn’t take cover behind a rock but kept running, though the movable shields had angled themselves so they were angled at 10 and 2; a good angle to slam them together to protect the front of the mobile suit but also open enough to allow free use of the Blitzer.
”Behind- - ready- - defend our- - ome.” But as the Efreet ran Matt started to feel a pressure, one that he didn’t recognize. His Cyber Newtype abilities had allowed him to survive a lot during the Rebellion and he remembered a lot of the sensations that he felt from other pilots... but this just felt off. The massive heat signature that lit up his sensors at the same time made him weary. Had he’d known it was a NITRO system he was sensing he would’ve started looking skyward for incoming remote weapons, but for now he didn’t have a clue what he was sensing. One thing was for sure; his desire to protect the colony and his comrade were growing in response to this new feeling. It was growing to the point that his desire to protect flowed out from him through his cyber newtype abilities, almost as if his mind was trying to form a protective mental barrier around everyone in the colony.

It didn't take long for the colony inhabitants to catch wind of the mobile suit presence and appropriately panic by raising the alarms to the highest alert level. A blaring ACA emergency siren looped throughout the colony. A broadcast through the intercoms directed the populace to seek immediate shelter until further notice. Fox used this brief opportunity in hopes the federation pilots were muddled enough from the sudden alarms to make his progress unnoticed.
Using small bursts of accelerated thrust to quickly advance him to the elevated [D-3] with bounding leaps, the 107-R took defensive position behind the largest rock formation that could provide cover. Establishing talk-to-text laser communications, he directed the machines communications laser mechanism towards the 08TX.
"Federation last visual contact, 2 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions. Detecting heat source anomaly, unable to locate source." The com laser sent pulses to be picked up by the 08TX's receiver, translating the Morse coded signals to be translated and played back in a computerized robotic voice.. chillingly disconcerting as if the mobile suit itself was speaking to the pilot.
The machine side stepped slightly and immediately dropped itself to a kneel from behind the left side of the boulder with shield firmly locked in it's left manipulator providing protection to compensate for the loss of cover. His actions quick and precise just brief enough to bring the Beam Rifle [Grenade Launcher] to aim at the location where he last recalled the nearest mobile suit to be taking cover in [C-4]. Squeezing trigger a successive [3?] times, taking a moment between shots to add additional charge to each super heated beam to assure maximum penetration of either mobile suit or it's cover, preferably both. It was time to start harassing the intruders and confirm their suspicions to the fact that this colony is indeed being defended.
There was a moment of silence on the radio, there being a gap in M-particle density in the vicinity. He opened frequency with the nearest enemy mobile [C-4] suit since his radio waves weren't able to travel any further.
"You're a long way from home, soldier. We have the colony surrounded, surrender now and you might just be able to walk out of this alive.." His eyes glossed with intensity. He knew war was all about mind games as well. With the sudden aggression and psychological persuasion, he rolled the dice on convincing the federation pilot to drop it's weapon and give up. Although in reality, he knew that was wishful thinking this early in the game.

The Federation pilots had come to the colony expecting a fight, their shields up and weapons at the ready prepared to get into a violent struggle with the Martian Forces. The GMIII at sector C-4 received a warning it had been locked on mere seconds before the first beam struck the upper torso. it's modern composite armor absorbed the heat from that first shoot but it left a permanent scorch mark and worn down the protection of that particular plate. This gave the pilot enough advantage to get the shield to protect itself from the follow up shots.
The GM III in D-8 followed the source of the beams, engaging the shoulder missile launchers to open fire. Two long range missiles were fired at the sector where the Rebawoo was located. The two missiles were outfitted with an HE-FRAG warhead which would ensure lethal shrapnel would saturate the area even if they were managed to be intercepted and destroyed mid flight.
Lorena could feel another newtype presence far ahead, likely an enemy. Using the funnels required all of her concentration. For now the remote weapons hovered above her subordinates ready to provide support the moment the enemy attempted to close in.

As the RF Efreet kept running North North East, Matt’s eyes were darting across everything in his field of vision in an attempt to figure out where the enemy was, but he could see any. Neither could the Efreet, with its own mono eye darting back and forth in the small dark area it had for a face. It was clear that he was too far back and had to move up. But which direction and how far?
Fox answered him via laser, which Matt had wish he had done before hand when he sensed the corrupted newtype presence. So the enemy was a little bit more to the East then he was heading? That was good to know... but where was the source of that heat spike? Also there was the fact that Fox hadn’t mentioned the Newtype presence. Was he an old type and therefore unable to sense the danger? Matt responded by opening a laser talk-to-text of his own to the Rebawoo. ”Newtype presence sensed simultaneous with massive heat source emergence. Beware possibly of enemy remote weapons. ETA to battle, momentarily.” Normally Matt was a bit of a talker, but in situations like this extra talk that slowed passing along information could cause lives. Short and sweet was a requirement here.
And then the Efreet’s sensors lit up to show that somewhere outside its weapon range a beam rifle had been fired. Fox was already in range of the enemy. Using the camera to zoom in on the location where Fox’s mobile suit had fired Matt was able to see for a split second that it was a GM III before the federation unit was obstructed by a boulder somewhere between the Efreet and the GM. However the Efreet did lock onto something else, and Matt suddenly wished he brought the beam Bazooka since it would have the range to shoot at the fun funnel he just spotted.
Quickly Matt reestablished laser laser communications with the 107-R ”Fin Funnel spotted East North East of your position.” Now wasn’t the time to be walking on the ground. With a grunt Matt pushed the controls forwards and slammed his foot down on the middle pedal, bringing the high mobility pack back online. The black and green prototype surged forwards without even touching the ground, racing into sector G-3. Since the sector lacked any cover all the mobile suit could do was head North East, where there would be cover by the water... if it could get there. Spotting the fin funnels would help, but where was the host mobile suit? How far away was it? Was it even in the colony?

AI system notified with warning indicators and a blinking "Overheat; Cooling Initiated" on the weapon system info grid. Fox promptly engrossed himself into immediate attention of the retaliatory actions taken by Mage-2 [D8], having only a critical moment to analyze the weapon engagements of the RGM-86. Although he had the benefit of elevated altitude, he refused to gamble the chance of exposing the machine to any kind of destructive force, or least try to prevent it as long as possible. He would have to tactically engage in decoy maneuvering to buy time for reinforcements. The warheads sped quick across the terrain in his general direction with a visible streak of gases trailing it's trajectory. The 107-R maintained it's defensive position, withdrawing the mech from beside the boulder into full cover, bringing it's shield to frontal guard for improved durability when the missiles struck.
As the warheads collided with the boulder in an ear splitting explosion of fire and debris. The severe turbulence of the explosion had systems briefly going haywire. Fox roughly tensed himself with vicious grit of his teeth trying to endure the violent aftershocks."Rrrggghh!!" He snarled loudly as he struggled to maintain integrity, the 107-R was vaguely spotted in an accelerated dash from behind the destruction going north east to the RGM-86 that was momentarily suppressed in [C-4], using the massive cloud of debris smoke kicked up from the destruction as advancing cover. Switching to one of it's shield mounted [Beam Axe] during mid-flight while the machine re-collaborated its stabilizers, the digital communication device detailed the 08TX's laser transmission. "Newtypes! Damnit, that changes things." He thought to himself with frustration. They used to be rare on the battlefields during his time, and they were a phenomenal force that broke the boundaries of human limits. By using the tactical warnings transmitted by his ally, he approached Mage-1 from around the boulder in which he used the rock formation in [C-4] as a visual blocker until the moment the 107-R appeared on it's immediate position with it's axes arm positioned overhead and coming down freely on the upper head and or it's immediate vicinity. The attempt was to disrupt or destroy it's systems located on the RGM-86's upper torso, and the shield placed in a defensive guard to try and reduce the amount of retaliation that might occur in that simultaneous moment.
At the moment he was fully engrossed in his offensive actions, which delayed reasonable response to his ally. All he could do is keep the federation pilots occupied and wait for the 08-TX to attempt some kind of flanking maneuver.

The pilot of the RGM-86 managed to get his bearings, detecting the Rebawoo maneuvering to engage in close combat. Rapidly it brought its 90mm machine-gun to bear on Fox's vector, firing a 4 round burst of pure high explosive shells aimed at stunning the enemy pilot and damaging its sensor systems.
Expertly the shield was raised above its head, colliding with the downwards beam axe slash. The Axe managed to cut through the first layer of worn out Luna titanium but was getting stuck between all that mass.
The Fin Funnel over Mage 1 maneuvered into position over head Fox, pointing the barrel of its gun downwards as to not accidentally perforate the GM III accidentally. The funnel would fire a charged up beam shortly afterwards.
Mage 2 would turn its attention at the other incoming hostile, firing two more missiles at the EF Efreet over long range. These two were of the HE-Frag and would release a storm of shrapnel upon exploding near it, not needing to make direct contact to release their payload.

The mobile suit shook with harsh turbulence when the 90mm MG shells struck explosively on the high torso area, upper left shoulder armor and it's fin wing. With a determined focus during the initial melee charge, the violent rattling of the pilots cabin did little to hinder his advance other than shake the aiming device and throwing his shooting aim off the mark momentarily. The resulting damage to the armor left scorch marks and rugged dents in its gundarium plating. When the axe connected deep into the RGM's shield, Fox sent immediate MS contact connection to the federation pilot. "Surrender now! AHHRRGG!!" With a primal growl pushing himself hard to bring the energy levels elevated to it's maximum capacity on the Beam Axe, increasing it's plasma matter to extended lengths and increased density, morphing the plasma that was originally curved as an axe to now a version of a large saber.
As the energy was increased to it's limits, Fox also pushed the machine's arm further into the GM with the added boost of it's thrusters to give it the strength to try and cut through the GM's shield and possibly the arm that also wield it. With a flash of attention shot towards the psychically controlled fin that was appearing to position itself overhead, Fox immediately rose the shield to protect from it's general direction and broke off engagement with the RGM with a front left kick into the GM's direction to try and pull off the axe, rapidly engaging all the necessary thrusters to bring itself to backward retreat at it's highest maneuver speed. A moment soon after the beam struck the shield, depleting it's first layer of anti-beam coating with a strong acidic hiss and forceful hit, Fox suddenly brought the chest intakes to bear and rapidly shoot a dense volley of vulcan beam projectiles in the fin's direction at relatively close range to cover his brief withdraw. During those intense moments of chaos, his ally and his 08TX were destroyed by missiles in a disheartening display of light and destruction, bringing a momentary blinding flash followed by a delay in it's explosive boom that shook the artificial environment. "Argh! Damnit! This is not good!"
"Open visual com, pulse direction K-1 0088.7788.1112" He instructed the machine to patch a laser connection with the engineer that was located in the controls tower in the southwestern corner of the region. "First wave reinforcements KIA! ETA on second wave!? Over!"
